I'm definitely back in for Oct, thank you Kiplingmonkey for starting the new thread. Totals for Sept were 23 UU and 21 IN, lower than usual on both fronts, was hoping for more UU but Oct should be a good month.

Updated stash list below, as ever, currently in use in pink, INs in RED (since beginning of challenge in Jan, unless they are already marked as being in use). I've deleted any UU/TA/GA as the list was getting too long in total! In the spirit of this thread I'm not going to aim for a no buying month but more a UU of at least two body lotion/butters as this stash isn't moving at all (I find a lot of them too heavy and feel my skin can't breathe after applying them - IYKWIM).

I've started Christmas shopping already - three gifts including a spa day already purchased. I have loads of toiletries left that I bought in the Boots -75% sale, so I will have to find them homes in time for Christmas, under Christmas trees!

Thanks for the new thread kiplingmonkey.

I have a number of INs as it was my 40th birthday yesterday and some friends bought me lovely goodies.

I can't list them all now as I went off to a club after the pub on Saturday when I was out celebrating and one of my friends from our of town who was getting the last train home kindly took the gifts home as I was scared of losing them in the cloakroom at the club.

But I know as well as a Clarins Beauty Flash balm there were some amazing Espa goodies in there and another friend bought me Mandarina Spa grapefruit and lemon body scrub and body lotion. Oh, and my sister bought me a Balance Me travel set of shampoo and conditioner plus body lotion and shower gel. So, some seriously lovely presents.

So, with that plus some Ren face stuff I "gifted" myself late last month I've no excuse to shop this month.

What I do want to do is make sure I use my products as much as possible. I have a really stressful time ahead as (long story) my fiance's visa appeal is being heard this week, and if they turn us down he might never be able to come home to England. We might not hear for 2-3 weeks after the hearing, so I need to really look after myself to avoid going potty in the meantime, and part of that can definitely involve home facials, manicures, baths etc, whilst using up some of my candle stash too.

Got to be better than my other choice of eating tons of chocolate / cakes / take outs etc.... which if you knew me, you would know I have done too much of already... But this is the year I must fix it - if the hearing goes our way, I will be getting married next year and I don't want to do it in a size 18 dress! And if it doesn't I could end up getting even more unhealthy, which I definitely don't want.
