Another UU this morning - Salon Chic So Smooth Straightening Mist - not convinced this is anything much more than water! Cheap but totally ineffective - WNBA.

I said awhile back I was going to sort my hair products out as I know there's stuff there I just won't use as that type of product is too heavy for my hair - still not done this so will aim to do so this month as hair products are quite a big chunk of my stash now as they've just kind of accumulated and tend to be fairly slow to UU.

Next up is REN Omega 3 Night Repair Serum - Used once and hated, persevered a second time and had to cleanse it off - smells repulsive, like an old deep fat fryer that needs its oil changing!! Yuk. Mind you, I don't know whether its just me but I've found quite a few REN products smell a bit funky - I don't know if its because they're maybe more natural? Anyway, I don't usually bin stuff but was going to with this as didn't think my Mum would appreciate it either and I usually gift her anything I won't use or don't like but have just googled the full size and its £34 for 50ml  and this sample is 10ml so about £7 worth so can't bring myself to chuck it - car boot maybe?? Someone may love it! If anyone's a fan, please let me know and I'll happily post it for you.

I'm not really fond of facial oils full stop, I just don't like the texture on my face, that said I much prefer the Kiehl's Midnight Recovery to this (although that's even more expensive) but I've mislaid that at the moment, possibly in Crete :o

Oh crikey, I have one or maybe two of these in that size in the stash, unopened as yet. I use REN clearskin calming clay cleanser and that is really lovely to use, smells herbal and makes my skin super soft. I am also using the night cream with frankincense and that has an unusual woody smell which I like but I know others on here have not.

One uu today, a 7ml sample size of Dermalogica skin smoothing cream. This states it is for dry or prematurely ageing skin so I didn't use it on my face but on my neck instead, it was lovely though and not greasy, very smooth and pleasant feeling. Would be nice for dry skin I think.

Just one UU - Elemis Freshskin wipes.

WNBA. Bought them as they were on offer (£3.50?) and thought I'd try them instead of my beloved No7 wipes (oddly since there isn't much No7 stuff that I like).

These were super scratchy and weren't 'wet' enough to get all my make up off.

Welcome back Lady M and hello to the newbies.

I had a bumper UU morning!

Right Guard deodorant WBA (and have). This is the last of my stash so no need to hoard anymore. The message has finally gotten through - there will always be deo on offer!!

Batiste Dry Shampoo WBA (and had one on stand by). I will replace this.

Prada 10mls purse Spray. I have another 5 to use but it is nice and light.

Blanx Toothpaste. Again this is the last one I had in my stash. Thinking about it made me realise I hadn't bought toothpaste since I moved into my current flat (3 years ago). At one point and had 11 in the stash. I WBA and it is regularly on offer.

Planning on PMN tonight. Not sure what colour yet.

    Have a nice night ladies.

More UU and the first IN of the month:

Elemis Pro Collagen Firming Body Cream - Liked the smell and texture, sank in well and, for a small tube, it did actually seem to firm where required. Still don't think I can justify the price but might pick another tube up off Ebay as some point. Still have tonnes of body lotions to use first though.

KMS Silker - Love this product, very similar to a serum, it smells of cherry blossom and is divine. Calms my hair down and stops it going flyaway. Its been a LHJ as you only need a tiny blob, although not an unpleasant one, but would have taken even longer if I hadn't knocked it over without the lid being closed and lost about a third of the bottle!! I've had this sat in the stash for absolutely years, I think they still do it but its called something different. WBA but I need to use some of what I've already got hair product wise first.

Melvita Naturalift moisturiser - was fine but nothing special and no obvious lifting qualities, wouldn't pay the £30 rrp - WNBA

Went into Boots with the intention of using voucher to buy No. 7 pressed powder as the Bourjois one I'm using at the mo is nearly finished but would still have been £8.50 with the £3 off - I only wanted a basic powder, not a compact as such so got Rimmel Stay Matte instead for £4 and decided to use the £5 skincare part of the voucher for some of the Beautiful Skin foaming cleanser which I really like (although don't strictly speaking need at the min :o).

Turns out 3 for 2 is working across makeup and skincare combined even though the SA said they're meant to be separate so then also got Simple Radiance Brightening wipes, tend to think I had a sample of these a while back and really liked them - wouldn't usually pay £4 odd for face wipes but made sense to get something the same price as the powder. So two IN to count as I don't stash makeup, not too bad!

The good news is that I've cut my tube of Royal Jelly body lotion up and it will be used up either tonight or in the morning.

I went to Boots today for shampoo and Boots Simply Sensitive Anti-redness serum. I don't really hoard shampoo. I have been using Naked but my hair has gone a bit lank lately which is usually a sign that I need to use something else - do other people find that if you use the same shampoo for a long time it ceases to work as well? The Boots serum got rave reviews and I thought it was worth trying to see if it helped with my Rosacea, as it only costs £4.99. As there was a 3for2 on I ended up getting Botanics day cream and night cream. They were also £4.99 each, so £9.98 for the 3. The HE shampoo (HG) was half price and I had a coupon for 25% off. Just noticed on the receipt that I had got 95p off the shampoo so the 25% must have come off the full price. 400ml shampoo for 94p isn't bad!

Then I went in M and S and saw Marie Clare with the free Occitane hand cream. I picked the small magazine up but then saw the larger one, which I prefer as my eyesight is awful! Then I noticed that the large version of the magazine has a free Dove hair conditioner as well as the hand cream. It doesn't state on the packaging that there is a free condtioner but it's definitely in there, even though it's not in the small magazine!
