The one near me is really disappointing. The displays are always empty pretty much and the staff can't really be bothered to help.
Having said that, the one near where I went to uni was EPIC.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -

Unless you have a beauty qualification they are not cheaper, but I liked OPI and China Glaze nail polish and it was good to see them IRL, also bought cuticle remover, acetone and manicure stuff there. The salon haircare brands are quite expensive compared to high street prices, but often higher strength, so had to use less shampoo, conditioner etc, so could work out better value, have to add not been able to go to one for almost 2 years, so may have changed. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. Am back from my hols now and have ins to confess:
Elemis eau de parfum
Elemis exotic eau de parfum
Leighton Denny Bronzed babe
Leighton Denny Brief Encounter
2 x cupcake bath melts
2 x bottles hotel bath and shower gel
2 x bottles hotel shampoo and conditioner
L'occitane rose petals handcream from MC
Dove colour radiance conditioner from MC
and one uu:

A few more UU from the last couple of days:
REN Vita-Mineral Day Cream - Liked this and liked the smell as wasn't too overpowering like I've found some of their other products. Just googled it full size and its £25 for 50ml on their website so not too bad - WMBA
REN Activ 7 Radiant Eye Gel - Felt lovely and cooling on puffy morning eyes but was only a tiny sample tube so not sure what, if any, effect it actually had - have a larger tube which I've now made a start on. Eye gel/cream is not something I generally use but have a few small tubes in stash so will use and decide if I think they're worthwhile enough to buy more.
John Frieda Frizz Ease Straightening Potion - I really liked this, once I got over the strong smell, could just have been its age as I'm pretty sure I had this before I moved 5 plus years ago! Rather unsurprisingly its been discontinued, I saw a bottle on Ebay but god knows how old that'll be, may even email to see if they've just renamed it something else or have something similar. It did a good job of calming my wayward locks.
Sure Clear Pure Crystal roll on deo - HG - As the old strapline claimed, it never lets me down!Already got more
No IN for me since the magazine freebies last week so all is well, think I will use the Dove conditioner to shave my legs as I've used a couple of their conditioners with very bad hair day results so just not willing to risk it again!
On a serious economy drive at the moment after hols and in the run up to Christmas so that's helping me avoid more IN and taking a more lateral approach to using up the stash. Free listings this weekend on Ebay so also going to take advantage of that I think, fingers crossed I don't get any nightmare buyers like poor Rosemary0 -
Some use ups at last
97. 5mlREN Invisible Pores Detox Mask. Love it.
98. JasonLavender Deodorant Stick. WBA when I have used other stuff (bought a couple ofdifferent ones on BOGOF) so have 4/5 to get through.
99. Gatineaueye cream 5ml, from overnight bag, have a full size in use.
TA Clinique turnaround15ml, got lost at back of drawer and gone off.
TA Gemma Kiddmascara (magazine freebie), given up on it, won’t stay put!
TA Home made face mask, I thinkthe Kaolin was a bit too coarse, made face red and slightly blotchy which leadsme to:-
IN’s
REN Invisble pores detox mask, plus 5ml sample size and 5ml sample of daycream.
Emma Hardie Moringa Balm 200g.

Hi everyone -
thanks for those who responded to me about their skincare preferences. I definitely am glad to see that I am not alone in this.
My boss came to work today (after not seeing him for over 5 months) and was telling me all the things I was doing wrong. I was so upset that I finally decided to leave this company. So until I get another stable job, I think I need to slow down on my shopping. I bust my a&$%$ at work and it was really disheartening to hear someone tell me that I was doing things the wrong way, when I have done nothing but save my branch from shutting. No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

Sorry about the work hassle, imho, pretty poor managerial skills to leave you to get on with it for 5 months, it sounds as it will be a worthwhile price to do without some things for a while if you are happier away from that job. Although I have made a lot of purchases recently, none of them were spur of the moment, cheering up stuff. For me I need to keep busy with other things, baking, knitting, reading, e-mailing friends to stop me having too many of the "want" things, rather than the planned spends. Lots of virtual hugs to you and virtual bad words to the boss.:)The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0
