You can get the Exfotonic from cheapsmells.com, but I'm interested, how much was it in Bodycare?

Hi rubeskimo. Thanks for that. The Exfotonic was £5.99 in Bodycare.

Have been naughty again today and bought another new OPI. Shame on Sallys for making me do it. Was in there yesterday and asked when the new Skyfall colours would be in. They were expecting them yesterday afternoon so had a look at lunch and they had the full set as well as some other lovely Christmas kits and the China Glaze Christmas ones. I bought a bottle of Live and Let Die and have painted it on top of my Nein Nein OK Fine. It is gorgeous. also bought Emma a bottle of Don't Pretzel My Button.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Oooh, I am waiting for delivery of Live and let die, and havn't tried Nein Nein...... yet. I used to have 2 Sally's to call in to before I moved north, now the nearest one is miles away and trade only boo:( I have quite a few OPI's and China Glaze that I bought from their reduced shelf. What did you think of the CG Christmas ones?

    A UU!

Philosophy Snow Angel shower gel/bath foam - WNBA - expensive and the scent wasn't anything distinctive tbh.
  • valm - opi is so addictive!

moromir - I love philosophy stuff, wish it wasn't so expensive over here.

    UU:
Neutrogena grapefruit cleanser - way too drying for my skin. So glad it's done.

Garnier vital restore moisturiser - it was just plain ok. It did sting me a little, I never thought I had sensitive skin but this didn't sit right with me. It did the job.

Last month was an experiment for me. Ever since I have started a skincare reigme at 20, I have always used premier skincare. Last month, I wanted to give my wallet a rest and try some drugstore/chemist brands. I absolutely hated it, and I think I will stick to my premier brands. I may return to trying another drugstore brand in the future, but I didn't like how synethic the garnier and neutrogena stuff felt. I did try Olay once before and thought it was nice but the prices of olay is now slowly creeping up to premier brands.

INs: Clinique liquid facial soap mild
    Clinique moisture surge
    Dior nude foundation
    Dior foundation brush
    Dior J'adore l'eau
    Dior creme abricot for nails
the SA was sweet to give me several samples including a mini eyeshadow quint palette.

I am officially done beauty shopping for the month.

It is difficult to change brands when you have been using premium brands for a long time isn't it. Apart from foundation, I don't spend so much on make-up which I don't wear too much of, preferring to splash my cash on skincare. I do wish I could find a mascara that I like for much less than YSL Faux Cils though, particularly as one should not keep mascara for too long.:(

A UU Avon Foot Works Beautiful Foot Souffle.

WIBA? With caution. It rubs in well and feels gorgeous, but like so many Avon products it has a pearlised effect;a sheen that seems to cling to your hands and transfer effortlessly to dark clothing. This drives me nuts. There are several products I won't buy again because of it.

It has shea butter in but also an odd, citrussy scent - it reminds me of potassium citrate which is an old fashioned cystitis cure!

I found my Aldi hydro-urea cream under the bed this week, so the foot cream I bought for deepest winter (Berry and Vanilla) will remain unbreached for a few more months.

The China Glaze ones are very pretty and glittery but saying that in Bodycare I've seen bottles of glittery lacquer similar to those by a company called Technic that I've heard the ladies on NPA thread mention so if I fancy any I'll probably go there. the 10 piece OPI best sellers kit looked lovely and I think I only had one of the colours already in it. We'll see. Maybe if I get a Christmas bonus I'll sneak one home.

The Angel shower gel was a bit naff wasn't it? I much prefer the Philosophy sweet fragrances like Cinnamon Buns and Double Hot Cocoa. Their Grace fragrances are lovely too.

I agree here with maddiemay tokkiandoliver. I'd rather pay for skincare that suits my skin rather than upset it by applying an alternative. I, like you, have tried this in the past and then found that I've thrown products away only to replace them with the premium one that I get along with so not saving in the long run anyway. I am getting very low on night cream. Have been using Elemis Oxygenating but don't really rate it that much. It's nice but it needs supplementing with an oil or serum. I like using LE Skin Repair as a night cream and this is creamy enough on its own. However in a bid to be more :money: this month (and because of the splurges on nail lacquer) I'm going to attempt to use other products I have as night treatments. for instance I have a full size Elemis SOS Emergency Skin Serum that needs using up and also a few 15ml tubes of Pro Collagen masks and serums so will see how I go with these.

I'm also getting low on cleanser and toner but following this train of thought I'm using up an Origins cleanser at night and will then help Emma with her C&P until pay day at the end of the month (or longer if I can). I have a small sized Elemis toner that I'm going to decant into the LE spritzer bottle I have and see how long this can last me before rebuying.

    Have another UU to report;

Nivea Happy Time Shower Gel - WNBA, the scent got to me a little after a while. OH bought me a new Nivea one, pomegranate and something but about 2/3 has leaked out in the bag! Once that's gone it will be on to the Dr Bronner's for me.

Was going to take advantage to of the Boots points event last night but will wait till it's online because my local store has a very limited amount of the christmas stuff in stock.

UU Superdrug Away with the fairies dry shampoo. WBA, I really like the smell of this one and it doesn't go grey like Batitise. Have dug the Superdrug brunette one back out to replace this, I didn't like this as it covered me in brown goo and didn't really seem to do much, but with persevere and see if it gets any better.

    Happy Friday everyone!

I live a 2 minute walk from my nearest Sally's (I can actually see the logo from my bedroom), and along with L'Occitane it's my Achilles heel! I've got better at resisting the urge to go in everytime I walk past...

Another UU for me - Nivea Visage Daily Essentials oil free moisturizing day crème. WBA if I didn't have another in the stash, I like Nivea moisturisers, they do a good job for a reasonably cheap pricetag.

    TGIF!
