evening all :hello:,
I think this is going to be a poor month for uu's so I'm pleased to have one today, - uu sanctuary body scrub, this smells absolutely gorgeous, it's not the scrubbiest scrub I've tried but it was a pleasure to use, I'm now down to only one scrub in the stash :j
happy pampering, xo0 -
Catriona had a look at the email, how are you famous?:)
Oh it was my request for the Plain Lazy kids' clothes goody bags.Nothing exciting but made my day!
Bought Marie Claire earlier so got my freebie of L'Occitane mango hand cream and Dove colour radiance conditioner."Why, this is hell, nor am I out of it."0 -
Hi Catriona, well done on your claim to fame!
I tried that Dove conditioner this morning and it was not a winner. My hair has been dry and frizzy all day. Great now that I have 3 of them. Shall try using it to shave my legs with.
Bought a tube of L'Oreal Exfotonic from Bodycare today. I've been looking for it for ages for Emma to try on her KP and had also seen it on ebay this week as well. Like buses eh?
Sallys told me today that they are expecting the Skyfall collection in tomorrow. These shops are really going to be my downfall x.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

UU Boots No 7 "4 in 1 face wipes". When I use up the mountain of wipes I have, I think thee will be the only ones I bother with. 30 in a pack, does a decent job and go on sale fairly often.
Gone into the box at work for a new home a bottle of Morrocan oil for the bath. Doesn't do anything for me. And a bottle of Bath and Body works Orange/lemon body spray. Just doesn't have much of a scent.
Glossybox has just ticked off their entire Canadian membership. Price is raised from $15/month to $21! No advance warning, just a "we're letting our ould customers have October at the old rate" and blah, blah. They've been charging the US customers $21 since they got off the ground there. So, they are now having a "North American pricing policy" No promise of extra items or better items. The other month, we got a box of Dove body wash and other products. Nobody was impressed.
And it's snowing!0 -

This is the kind of games that glossybox plays with their members. I left them after month 3 when they first started because they got us all interested and then told us that there is an additional postage fee now. It wasn't the price that bothered me, but they keep adding more and more to the price. They should have gotten their pricing model correctly before coming onto the scene. It just made them look unprofessional and not prepared.No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

So yesterday's london trip wasn't too bad. I didn't buy everything that I wanted and did keep in mind the budget I had set. I did end up buying myself a back up of my HG eyebrow pencil (suqqu) and I also bought myself an early christmas pressie (suqqu eyeshadow brush). It was a bit of a splurge, but it is a wishlist product of mine. Other than that, I bought xmas pressies for others and a cheap zara dress for this friday night.
I think I didn't do too bad considering the selfridges, harrods, and liberty's beauty hall was so gorgeous and tempting!No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries Challenge

another buyer who bought 3 items really cheaply asked if I would combine post so I dropped it from £6.60 which it would have been for 3 seperate parcels to £5 and wrapped the items in an empty beauty box and tissue......he comented on feedback how expensive the post was:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:is it worth it??????0 -

You can get the Exfotonic from cheapsmells.com, but I'm interested, how much was it in Bodycare?Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20170 -
