    Hello!

I'm so sorry that I went AWOL. I've missed being here and am very much IN for October. I fell down a bit of a health black hole after the stress of my incapacity reassessment. I still don't know the outcome :eek:Sorry for the length of this catch-up post...

Welcome back, lovely to see you! :j Sorry to hear you've been having a rough time lately, I hope you're feeling better now and the result of your assessment is what you are hoping for x

UU Soap & Glory Spray on Moisturiser. I got it free in one of those massive Xmas gift sets. Smells lovely but not sure if actually doesn't anything! Wouldn't buy again but would happily use again if it came in another set.

In other beauty news, I'm coming scarily close to using up all my NARS Orgasm blusher :( It's going to be hard to use something cheaper after using that but I will downgrade until I'm debt free then I'll go running back!

It's only because we've had a bit of a tough time the last couple of weeks and he's trying to be a bit more attentive. Plus I've come down with a cold so he went and got me the magazines for something to read while I'm tucked up in bed!

Mockingjay - I would actually probably re-purchase Nars Orgasm, because those blushes do last ages and you know it's something you're going to use. Therefore you don't waste money on trying cheaper things that don't hold up half as well when you could have just bought the blush in the first place!

Have compiled the list of makeup that I have with me here and it's over 4 pages in Word! Plus I have a LOT more at my parents still...I don't think I'm ever going to need to buy eyeshadow or blush again!

Hi Mockingjay, I'm actually with ruby_eskimo on the Nars blusher. I'm at the point where I know what works for me and can't see the point in economising on something that I'd probably chuck out once I could repurchase the "better option".

Does anyone know of any websites where I could possibly sell some of my Avon stuff? I've accumulated quite a bit from when I was a rep and some of it I know, looking back now, I bought just because I could, but probably realistically wouldn't use it.

I'm sure there was a website mentioned here, possibly in one of the earlier threads, but can't remember the name.

I don't know where could sell your Avon goodies other than Ebay but was wondering whether you've ever used makeupalley to swap things?

I went into Boots at lunch time and thought I was being very :money: when I bought 2 x Mitchum sticks for £1.50 each as this is now Emma's HG deodorant. She is the one (of course) who pointed out to me tonight that they are for men. Picked up the gift guide whilst in there. Is it just me or does everything look very samey. Just about every collection in there had a nail colour kit in it. The only page that looked quite lush was the Gok Wan one.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Managed to PYN tonight - went with an M & S one in Leaf. First time on and I think it is really pretty.

I am so excited as I am nearly at the end of a brow pencil - this first one in TWO years of doing this challenge. :j

    Have a couple of UU to report;

Mac Cleanse off oil - WBA, and already have, but replaced it with the travel size one as we're off to Budapest in a few weeks and this will definitely last till then!

Listerine Stay White Travel Size - Have kept the bottle so I can refill it when we go to Budapest. Have replaced with the new Listerine for sensitive teeth, but it tastes REALLY strange.

Red and glittery sounds fun, if you have time, when you need to remove glitter polish soak small section of a cotton pad in remover and then secure to nail with a piece of tinfoil. Leave on for several minutes, it should then just slide off easily, you may need to test from time to time, the staying power of some is like concrete:rotfl: If I am doing fingers I do one hand at a time so I can still have a coffee and a read of something.

On the subject of reading, looked at L'Occitane hand cream freebie, but managed to resist, I have a drawerful of handcream and have found I can decant into an empty Gatineau pump container 15 or 30 ml for handbag, no more squished leaky tubes!
