I checked out the upcoming Liz Earle TSV and I think my money is safe this time so hoping not to have too many 'ins' this month

Yes, I checked this out as well. I am getting low on IBST as well as Skin Repair Moisturiser and am planning to buy these items direct from LE or from JL whenever I need them unless there is a brilliant offer on them elsewhere in the meantime.

Where do you find out what the tsv's are?

Then I went in M and S and saw Marie Clare with the free Occitane hand cream. I picked the small magazine up but then saw the larger one, which I prefer as my eyesight is awful! Then I noticed that the large version of the magazine has a free Dove hair conditioner as well as the hand cream. It doesn't state on the packaging that there is a free condtioner but it's definitely in there, even though it's not in the small magazine!

Not sure if I need to go to the naughty step or not as I've picked up all 4 of the L'occitane hand creams. I am intending to give away the shea butter and rose ones as part of Christmas present hampers to my sister and friend at work with the mango and date ones being reserved for my handbag though. I presently don't have one in my handbag although I have a hand lotion pump on my desk at work, one in the bathroom and one in the living room. Do you think I need one on the go as well?? I noticed the difference between the bigger mags having the Dove conditioner on as well so I now have 3 x tubes of this as well.

freebies in with mags.....benefit cheek and lip tint, occitane hand cream and dove colour conditioner plus two sachets of clarins foundation and a sparkly red nail colour :)

I picked up the Sun Beam and Cha Cha tint as well. Emma has the Sun Beam and we are sharing the Cha Cha tint. I've used it today and it's quite nice. Where did the sparkly red nail colour come from Rosemary?

Painted my nails today with Chanel Particuliere, it did not seem to dry with Seche Vite on top (smudged one nail badly) so ended up using Leighton Denny Miracle Mist, I did use Chanel base coat first, anyone out there have any recomendations for a quick drying top coat that works with Chanel please?

PS the SV worked perfectly on a Carolyn New York polish on my toes yesterday.

I am sure a lot of people are pleased it is Friday:j, hope you have some nice things planned for weekend.

I saw Particuliere onboard our cruise ship and decided not to buy it as it looked very similar to Metro Chic which I now own. Saw the new OPI Skyfall lacquers in John Lewis on Friday night and a couple of the colours were gorgeous - can't remember the names but the colours I liked were the shimmery green and burgundy creme.

Have almost finished my OPI Nail Envy, it's getting really hard to get some out of the bottle. Trying to use it all up because there is still a fair bit in there but might have to rope OH in to get it out of the bottle onto the brush for me while I have wet nails!

I bought a bottle of OPI Nail Lacquer thinner espeically to get to the end of a bottle of Nail Envy and it worked really well. Might be worth the investiment?
Question for body butter/ body lotion / body oil users, which is most of us I think:

Do you ever feel that a product isn't rubbing in well, but that it may be simply because it isn't needed? I was finding for some time that a few of the butters and lotions I was using seemed not to be rubbing in at all well; some of them had rave reviews too.

I'm very lavish with products, or I was, I've tried cutting back a bit as less may well be more. Rather than coating myself fairly heavily on a daily basis, lighter use does seem to be paying off.

Hi And, do you exfoliate regularly? I find if I give up on exfoliating body butterers/lotions don't sink in so well as they are sitting on top of dead skin.

Following on from what I said earlier about places near work selling cheap toiletries I've also come across a Sallys (so I can buy OPI on the sly!!) and a card shop selling a very big range of Yankee Candles (another obsession of mine).

If anyone's yet to get Instyle for the Benefit 'freebies' - its on offer in Tesco, £2.50 instead of £3.80 I think it was. I chose Benetint between that and Cha Cha Tint x

Thanks for this, I used to use Poshe, but more recently was able to buy SV at a better price. I have a Nails Inc which has worked well, so will try this next, if no good will look for a deal on Poshe.

Have you ever used Lumos? it seems to be hard to find in the UK.

I haven't but I'm off to google it now :D

Noelphobic - I am with you on the shampoo issue. I find my hair does need a jolt every now and again. I had put that down to the amount of products I use in my hair (it is short but I do play about with it daily and often put it into some funky styles). I need to de-gunk on a weekly basis or my hair just feels to heavy with no volume. I keep a few shampoos in the shower and mix it up.

I heard that adding a small amount of baking soda to your shampoo once every 2 weeks helps. I tried it once and I did like it, but I always forget to do this.

IN: 1 ball of fizzie bath salts from Lush £3.20 WBA.

I bought it as a treat for my DS for being good in school. I have to say 99% of the toilettries in the house are mine so I see no need to punish the poor kid. Anyway, the ball disappeared in a matter of minutes so it is also an UU. :undecided

Eloise86: don't be too quick to blame the dry shampoo. Hairloss was the first sign of my thyroid issues. Go see your GP and get a bloodtest.

Whenever I suddenly start to loose hair, I get my thyroid levels checked and usually it's that.

OH, UU SpectroJel face wash. Meh. 500mls and the pump won't pump out anymore, so bye. It's not a bad product, dermatologist desgined for sensitive skin. I just didn't like the smell of it. It also came with a facial moisturizer which I promptly gave to the husband to use on his arms. He liked the bottle size, fits in his shaving bag and he can take it with him and use it as a face/body moisturizer.
