Hey Kat
Just popping in to say howdy and your diet cuts are amazing! I cut carbs for a while which includes most of the things you mention up there.. Being intolerant to dairy protein I also tend to cut milk and cheese out of my diet most of the time anyway (apart from cheddar... man it's worth the tummyache!) Anyhoo I really enjoyed it & didn't find it restrictive at all once I learned to cook around it. It is one of the real bonuses of living by yourself. Total control over your food without someone piping up about not liking mushrooms or needing more meat!
Carb free is obviously not a particularly sage diet choice so I am rather gladI don't do it any more, but I really do need to get back on the healthy bandwagon. I'm sat here with a giant bar of marvellous creations and I have already eaten a third of it & feel a bit sick!
I signed up for the Halifax Reward card the day before they cut the £100 bonus. Was accepted and the £100 in my account immediately. She made me move more DD's than I would have liked so I will be moving them back steadilyI made sure to move the fixed price ones only so that I can budget it out properly in the meantime.
The customer service hasn't been great so far but I knew that already! I transferred £1000 to the account to do my monthly shuffle on it but then it took a week for them to let me move it back out as they messed up my phone number & wouldn't take instructions over the phone to move the cash back out again. Ah well, just some interest lost.
Hope you're doing well. Have the wedding of the century to go to in 2 weeks time. £35,000 and counting spent so far. I think she stopped counting really. The ironic thing is she has taken the money from her offset MORTGAGE so realistically she will be paying this wedding off for 25 years. That money in the offset account was supposed to be putting a hefty deposit on a buy-to-let student house... but her hubby to be is not very good at saying no and she is kind of a 'more is more' person. It makes me shiver, the amount of money she has wasted on things she bought for the wedding table dressing but then decided against. 4 different lots of £300-400 spent on things that are boxed never to be used, stacked to the ceiling in her dining room. Ah well, each to their own. They will have their own lightbulb moment one day. Who am I o judge?
Make sure to get your skin out there in this delightful weather as much as possible Kat. Double benefits of clearing your skin and getting you a bit of a tan AND vitamin D to help you intake calcium

Hello Lilt!
I am supping a green smoothy thinking about the lovely garden time I had yesterday with no make-up lapping up rays with a bottle of water! I love sitting out there..
Yes this healthy eating journey is amazing. I don't think I will be going back. I refuse to get on the scales yet or take measurements as I would rather do that in a few months but feeling great. I am not missing cheese right now, or tea. I get the odd sugar craving but have made vegan / sugar free blueberry and banana muffins that should keep me going for a while.
I have ordered a sprouter to grow alfalfa, broccoli and radish sprouts. They have such an amazing abundance of nutrients and are so easy to grow. I can tailor what I grow to compliment different dishes as well as I ordered the three tier sprouter:T. I am looking into growing micro-greens as well - everything in the smaller version is more conentrated and rich in minerals and trace elements. I am slightly obsessed! :rotfl:
Now don't get me started on weddings! I cannot believe that someone can be that stupid! WHY would someone use money from their home to fund a one-day extravaganza? I am in awe. My friends had a lavish wedding paid for in cash as they both had good jobs - her cousin's however HAD to have a massive wedding and so her aged parents remortgaged their house!!! Now that is folly!!!
My wedding will be paid for in cash. So will my husband if it carries on like this..:rotfl::rotfl:.. but it will be cheap, all hands on deck stylee... although I will be getting myself an epic dress that will suit all occasions and be dyed black when the day is over...:rotfl: but boxes of decorations etc not being used - that is a shocking waste of money!! I pity her really!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Oh and Lilt my bike repairs cost me £427 plus petrol required to get to work over the weekend (which will be returned) - means only £400 towards the loan next month instead of £850.. So annoyed!
Well done for getting your £100. I haven't checked this month to see if I got my £5. I don't want to be disappointed....
EDIT - just checked. DD's went out although no £5 deposit. I transferred £1000 on the 28th June, Siouxsie indicated she has done this before and not exactly on the 1st of every month but still got her £5. I am miffed. Will wait until the 1st next month then compain at them!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. hi NK have you watched a programme called fat, sick and nearly dead? Now i know you are none of these things! but the programme really resonated with me and has given me a different view of food and i have certainly up my intake of friut and veg and cut out a lot of sugar and snacks so far have lost a few pounds (spent a few more on veggies) and feel better for it.
the website of the same name has some great ideas on juicing recipes and getting the micro nutrients we all need.

Eco- funny you should mention it! Someone told me to watch it on Saturday when she started talking about juicing! A girlfriend is doing the juicing thing for 5 days although there was mention it was 30 days long in this program..? Thank you for the reminder though - I think I might watch it tonight!!!
Albeit just missed Food Unwrapped!...poor piggy's.. am being so careful now with food. Glad you are too though...
Please see attached picture of vegan, sugar free banana and blueberry muffins...(should be gluten free as well but I didn't want to travel to Waitrose for Xanthian Gum...
And the amazing sprouter...:T:T:T“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. sorry maybe out of the loop what on earth is a sprouter?!yes to reboot your system you are supposed to just juice for 30 days though one guy in the programme did it for 60 days ! and lost 91 pounds in the process! he managed much more over the 10 months of the documentary and came of al his meds in the process including one for a skin condition.

Sorry.. you plant little seeds and just water them twice a day! It's like growing cress but I am using alfalfa / broccoli and possible raddish seeds. They are mini shoot versions (like cress) of the bigger vegetable but sometime 10 times as many nutrients as they are so small and concentrated... I am amazed!!..So many micro / macro nutrients and vitamins and trace minerals.... too good to miss out on especially as they grow so fast!
Dread to think how expensive that juicing diet is per day - $25 one guy spends isn't it... about to watch it now...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. AH ok we have 3 8ft by 4ft raised beds in which we grow a few veggies in so I guess they are hopefully full sized versions of yours with the same nutrient value, am very excited about the changes we are making though the extra costs involved are an issue next job is to get fitter just wish it wasn't so hot!

Unicorns I was super cheeky - on Amazon.co.uk there is a book you can view.. it's a vegan, non-gluten, sugar free American one. I saw this recipe in the book whilst "pre-viewing it" and copied it down - whoopsie.....I will find it for you though!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
