I have just got round to transferring money over to my third purse again. Another £40 and there is £92 in my second purse. So that makes £125 since Christmas out into my third purse savings for this Christmas.

Another £21 in to my third purse Christmas savings making £146.

I've stocked up again on breakfast cereal and oats, tinned fruit and passata with my Aldi voucher.

We have survived the year so far on reduced income and I have still managed to put my savings into my third purse so I am really pleased with that. My grocery bill for March was £222.79 including all the things I bought back from Esther's Bagels. I've never got it that low before. The freezer is stocked with enough meat for April. May buy some fish though for a bit more variety and health reasons. Can't fit anything else in though at the moment so will have to eat a bit before I buy any more. Have a large bill of £600 to pay, so still cutting back a lot. Can pay in instalments but want to pay it off ASAP. Hope you are all doing well.

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Hi All,
I've not been on a while but I have been keeping up, actually I have been running down my freezer to defrost it and am starting to run down my stock cupboard as there is a lot in there I have not used. I think I need to start being more selective on what I'm stocking up on.

I'm happy with my booty though I now have about £130 in my 3rd purse for Christmas which I am so happy about!

Hope you are all getting on ok with the system.

I'm still plodding along with the system, my stock cupboard is full to brim, and even my oh who used to have a go, has eaten his words, we are well in profit and its completely self funding now. I usually buy stuff on offer, and then buy it back at a profit but less than it would have cost so it a win win.

Ooh, just noticed that it was 9th May last year that I joined this challenge. How time flies.

Well I have saved £201 since Christmas in my third purse towards this Christmas. I have a lot of stock at the moment. Plenty of shower gel, soap, coffee and tins of tomatoes and beans especially. I need to stock up on pasta though. I am nearly out of that.

    Hope everyone else is ok.

    God bless

Well done EstherH, its surprising how it builds up isn't it. I have so much stock and love it when I get to pay the "profit" into my savings.

    Hi everyone,
I stocked up again at Alilidee after I got the voucher from last weeks paper.
I now have spare dishwasher tabs in my store, I was getting very low there. I also got the pasta I needed. I got a big 5k jar of rice at Costco recently too.

I have also put another £70 in my third purse.

Is everyone else still doing it but not posting? It's so quiet on here.
