    pleased myself again today after a leisurely lay in I met a friend for lunch (using a code) and thats filled me up :D:D.... i really don't miss cooking for hours only for it to be eaten in 5 mins!

    Love this thread! I am not technically single but money-wise we still are separate and living apart. Mine is the same, build up debt by/with ex partner as he couldn't get credit due to bankruptcy....ALL THE SIGNS WERE THERE!!!! Lol. New man is very sensible with money and I am living the control aspect! :-)

    I am finally through with sponging men and looking forward to being debt free in 20 months (sooner if I can).

    I would like to meet someone but just as happy in my own company, for now.

  • I suspect that everyone on this thread will be late twenties/thirties with a history of sponging men! I thought it might be good to all have a pre christmas aim? Im aiming to pay off the next CC before xmas if anyone wants to join me in something similar?

    I actually DONT want to buy property because all though I have a brother & sister, both are in well paid jobs and dont need any extra help and I prefer renting my flat because if anything goes wrong the Letting Agent fixes it and it costs me nowt.
