  • im VERY worried about clearing the overdraft and not dipping into the part ive paid off - il be here every second hoping for support to keep me on track!

I am attacking my two credit cards first (although one is SLIGHTLY higher apr than my overdraft) as i find it easier cos they are a separate "pot" and im not tempted to spend on them again....SO ive been concerned about what happens when it gets to paying off the overdraft (as above)

BUT...YAY!!! spoke to the Natwest today, and when CC2 is cleared, they have agreed to shift the balance of my OD over to the card so that I can clear it from there instead for NO charge AND its at the lower APR. That will immediately put my current account in the BLACK!!!!!!

Yayyyyyy! Im really feeling like this is happening faster than I thought it would!!

I know! I was pretty surprised, and its taken away the concern i had about paying off the overdraft only to end up "dipping" back into it again! AND it will save on interest too!

How is everyone getting on this weekend?

  • I've made two bits for listing on folksy, so hoping for a clear day tomorrow so I can take some nice photos. I am not very artistic though so will have to think about how to arrange them.

Went to the gym yesterday and can't move today, went for a very hard run this morning. I have 10 weeks to get fit in both senses of the word! :D

  • Hello!

Can I join? I was in debt when I first joined here about 25,000 pounds, I paid it off- it did change my life. However I have kinda stalled!

The "debt" in my sig refers to the amount I need to save or borrow in order to buy a house. I have been debt free for over a year aside from money spent on a CC which is paid off each month - aside from this one.

Plans this year have been scuppered by me getting benign skin cancer -the CC bill is mainly from treatment (plus other expenses)

I will have to pay for further treatment and don't really know how much that will be.

Oh yeah................am deeply and seriously single!

hope I can join xx so sleepy now xx night all
    Nevertheless she persisted.
