Just to hijack the thread, sorry peeps, but have you noticed the 'new' raid is less effective? I used to just have one toxic fog job done. Now the wasps seem to get all aggressive revengeful mode and the flies seem to be doing that warped buzzing thing for ages.
I have always found wasps revengeful after spraying and I run like the wind out of the room once sprayed!
I also misunderstood the use of the can for the second step
I cannot stand the smell of raid. Is it a perfume they add or is it the chemical? Either way, I am certain that I am inhaling deadly fumes, which will kill me, every time I spray it!Putting these winter preps here so I don't forget!
Curtain pole installed in the living room
Paint curtain pole
Window quilts for landing window & french door
Add shrink film to the kitchen door & insulate
Insulate front door
Bubble wrap windows & french door
Wash front door curtain
Blind for the bathroom
Find wrist warmers & the wool socks!
Wash heated throws
Wash duvet & wool blankets
Buy vest tops to go under clothes and PJs
Buy nets for bathroom and kitchen
Buy or make blind for kitchen0 -

My landlady is going to love me
I need the oven fixing (I pay and she'll refund me & has been on the to do list for over a year now), a couple of windows replacing due to the seals going, the back gate fixing, smoke alarms replacing, and I'm sure there's more.
Thats on top of the fact she had both roofs repaired this year (one twice, but thats her own fault for getting a cowboy in!), a chimney capped and the back door fixed. I swear this house is falling apart around my ears!
Nicki there are some firms that can re-seal the units without having to replace an entire window - supposed to be cheaper, and less mess.
Worth thinking about, even if landlady pays as it may mean she's inclined to do it sooner.Bossymoo

Hairspray works a treat, sticks their wings together, they drop, bash them, they're a gonna.Yep...still at it, working out how to retire early.:D....... Going to have to rethink that scenario as have been screwed over by the company. A work in progress.0
