sra or ars
traf or fart

oops I wonder if sras are sorted too ,gonna have another look0 -
I think those are threads you've looked at, at some point. The country ones are all bold for me, but as you say, some boards' threads are bold and some aren't.
The point is, though, unless the techie team does some further tweaking any future posts' titles will be bold until you've read them.Could you do with a Money Makeover?

ok I get that part now,we have to go into each thread and read it or it will stay bold........just using the forum.
'mark this forum as read'...........does nothing to the bold0 -
just so it's clear what I mean ,if I go into quick links and then new posts
the right hand column marked 'forum'
some are bold and others aren't .............but now I know I will just ignore it,I'm not going into every thread so they can just stay that way:rolleyes:0 -
I've only read two threads on the ebay board today and they're not highlighted - even though I've marked it as read a few times today.
This kinda mucks up the whole way I read the boards.
usually about now I'd go onto the Techie board and there would be 4 or 5 marked unread. I could look at the ones I want and then just mark the rest read.
That way I could keep on top of things because going back later, only 3 or 4 would be re-highlighted as having new posts.
by the way - it's taking me 3-4 mins to load any mse page right now0 -
The only way I can describe the board at the moment is:
Places I very rarely read, like Small Biz and Charities, look like they've been 'read', but they haven't.
Not sure if it helps, and I'm not moaning ( I'm not!) but it might help Webby?
Btw, how are you all marking a thread as 'read'? I don't understand0 -

They do? Thanks sra, I'll have to try that. I don't think it's a new hiccup tonight btw, because sometimes I'll go to put a post in eBay for instance, and it looks like I've read all the topics when I haven't.
But I'll try it your way. Thanks again0 -
