Feels great to "beat the system" doesn't it?! I always feel a bit smug when I walk out of Tesco having stuck rigidly to the list of "things I NEED" and successfully avoided all the "things I WANT". I think I made an important step forward in being a debt-free wannabe when I realised the distinction between the 2, AND that I had control over it.
Well done! It's not always easy to do,but it's great when you do!:DWell NSD6 achieved. I have not spent anything over budget this week!!!!!
Even my spends have slowly been coming down especially the food shopping.
No unplanned treats means that i have lost 2 stone as well. Who would have thought controlling my spending would mean sorting my weight issues!
Very impressive!
As for me,I've got #5 and #6 for today and yesterday.I had a pretty good day at work today and I'm off tomorrow.:)
rising hope you're feeling better soon.
Well done to everyone who's got an nsd today!:j0 -

Still in PJ's.
No 10 today.
Me toofeeling slightly fragile after a night out last night (I'm sure it was the last drink that did it...not the several I had before that
:o:o) didn't get out of bed until v.late this afternoon - was supposed to be going trainer shopping but the mere thought of driving made me feel _pale_
I do need to throw some clothes on as we're periliously low on milk but that won't count as a spend. Annoyingly last night cost me a NSD, but today is NSD #4 had better pick the pace up a bit else I'll miss target this month.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

(A new moon stands alone in a blackened sky above Ennessdee Towers. Suddenly a team of dogs pulling a sledge appear from out the forest and stops sharply by the front door, which is unlocked as usual, due to the Open Door to Everyone policy at this establishment. Two figures, swathed in furs, climb out. One strides purposefully into the Great Hall and throws a large sack triumphantly into the NSD Collecting Cauldron. The other figure, shorter, slightly twisted in gait and appearance, carrying fifteen large suitcases, a set of chef's knives and a well-thumbed copy of Fanny Craddock meets The Naked Chef, pays the driver of the sledge and throws a few meagre scraps of pickled ferret and chutney sandwiches at the dogs. They politely decline.)
Right, Igor, grab the marker pen and put on the board that Nargleblast now has 6 NSDs!!!
A glorious three days hunting indeed!One life - your life - live it!0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Love it Nargle!!
Well, you can suspend the amazement at my 8 quid shop as i have been naughty tonight & blown all chances of 6 in a row by giving in to a takeaway pizza
In my defence, all of the DIY upstairs that i needed to do is finished & i managed to repaper the back bedroom & it was 8pm when i finished too filthy & shattered to do anything other than call in food & have a soak in the bath to try & soak out the splinters!!
Those of you that use the "F" word are safe now, as the crowbar is retiring back to the shed for a rest!! :rotfl:February NSD challenge 5/150 -

Did manage to drag my sorry !!!!! to the shop for milk but just took enough for that (thank OH for leaving your spare change on the dresser:D)
Most exciting thing I've done today is make an enquiry about a wheelie bin clean (I'll do most things but I think the state of our bins would give Igor's fusty ferret sarnies a run for their money ) but that is DEFF coming out of the house budget.
Grocery shopping planned for tomorrow - have some APGs to use from the glitch and a few bits of grub needed for the week ahead.
BDINI - sounds like the pizza was well earned, just think what you saved by doing all that yourselfFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16
