Everyone counts their NSDs differently, it's completely up to you. I have a budget every week and as long as I spend under that budget it is an NSD for me. It is helping me manage my money musch better.Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Hello all just a quick update. I stuck to my list :j First time ever i had a list or stuck to one. I have enough food to last til next Saturday if all goes to plan. I have a couple of activities that I pay for during the week but I have put the money aside today and I am going to try and have lots of lovely NSDs this week. Enjoy your evening mine involves a little bit of wine and some chocolate (they were on the list) my weekly treat. Love P0lly xx
Well done P0lly. :T It's a brilliant feeling coming out of the supermarket knowing that you have beat their system :Tbottleofred wrote: »Good afternoon folks,
No NSDs to declare since my last visit and definitely not for today, as I've been out doing Christmas shopping:eek:. With the exception of some vouchers and a few more bits and bobs, I'm almost finished:).
Noticeably colder in NI this week and there was frost on the windscreen this morning:mad:
I hope everyone is well and enjoying the weekend, as I have not yet caught up on the posts.
Christmas shopping  I have a list in my head and that's as far as I have gotI am impressed that you are nearly finished yours. I know what I am like and would be tempted to keep on spending so I'm putting it off a wee while longer.
I had to defrost the car 3 days out of 5 last week before work :eek:butdoineedit? wrote: »Well, you can suspend the amazement at my 8 quid shop as i have been naughty tonight & blown all chances of 6 in a row by giving in to a takeaway pizza
In my defence, all of the DIY upstairs that i needed to do is finished & i managed to repaper the back bedroom & it was 8pm when i finished too filthy & shattered to do anything other than call in food & have a soak in the bath to try & soak out the splinters!!
Those of you that use the "F" word are safe now, as the crowbar is retiring back to the shed for a rest!! :rotfl:
You definitely deserved that pizza. :TFree by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
NSD #13 in the bag for me :T I managed to spend absolutely nothing yesterday and made myself a tidy little profit catering a buffet. So when I put that in the bank tomorrow and with it being payday too, my bank account will be looking decidely healthy.....................for about 5 minutes until all the DDs come out
Have a great day everyone.Free by FiftyDebt of the Moment -August NSD Challenge 14/150 -
Claiming NSD #12 & 12 in a row for yesterday.
Did pop into Waitrose for their reductions yesterday and thought I went over budget until getting to the till and realised that they were paying me to take their sandwiches away (very close to them owing me money at the till)!

Still no more NSDs for me - I had to go and get some carrots for todays lunch and they had some reduced bulbs for sale so I took those and will plant them up this afternoon.
I'm impressed at how you all manage to not spend for such a long time, I seem to always forget something or not plan out things very well. Well, I guess I'll just have to practise.
Today though is definately number 3 NSD, as it's Sunday and nothing's open.Trying to keep in budget.

A total spend today for me of £14.36 but seemed to get lots! Spent quite a long time in Iceland working out the best offers before committing to anything.
Tesco's are currently doing a 50p per can deal on their Heinz soups. As they are my favourite, I stocked up... 12 cans later my cupboard is much fuller!
Home Bargains turned out to be a let-down. I'm sure it used to be more "foody" in the past. Today though there was barely half an isle of food, and nothing worth having. Mostly snacky stuff or xmas chocolates. I was in there at 10am, tried to buy some cheap bleach, only to be told tills didn't open until 10:30! Stuff that! Iceland stuff was already melting in the car, so didn't want to hang around.Because it's fun to have money!
