Morning all. You are all so supportive and friendly thank you:A
Flubberyzing I think the system has been beating me but that is going to change I have a list and I will stick to it. Rising hope cat is safe you must be so worried. Citizenkitten I will let you know my meal plan I am a veggie so I should be economical and I like cooking. However I buy stuff just for a recipe then never use the rest of it so I have some odd ingredients in my cupboards.
I dont think I can manage an £8 shop today well done though Doineedit I shall follow in your path one daySuzitiger I have been trying really hard not to pop out when I run out of stuff maybe we can support one another. Freebyfifty wonderful updates you make me smile :T
Well I am off shopping as I know I will be reporting back I feel confident that I will stick to my list.Until later have a good day everyone P0lly x

You get to make your own rules as to what counts as a NSD or not. That's the joy of this particular challenge. No one is going to jump on you if you follow slightly different rules to them.

NSD#6 for me today!
Just a nice chilled out day today after a rather busy week. Might be doing a bit of spending tomorrow as I'm running out of food! Need to make a list though. Thinking of going to Home Bargains tomorrow. I've not been in it for years, but thought I'd pay a visit and see if they've got anything worth having. Otherwise it'll be just Iceland and Tescos for me!Because it's fun to have money!

flubber - i have never heard of home bargains what is it? is it like netto?
evertoptimist - still 18 days of october! you can do it! and the best of luck to your husband in afgan.
beanielou- lucky you, i wish to be in pjs and get an NSD.
polly - interesting, i presume you dont eat eggs which is hard, are a lot of your recipes indian? good way to use those spices we have all got in the cupboard dying of boredom! japanese i hear is also good for vegies as they eat tofu quite often and are inventitive with getting the (savoury) flavour.
spendvsave - it is completely up to you what you count as a spend, really what works for you, i dont count my food shopping as a spend as i have already budgeted for it. otherwise i found myself getting other things in the smarket because it was already a "spend" day which was not very helpful at all.
penny - fantastic news! GO YOU! the old style board has a thread for old style weight loss you may want to look at for inspiration etc.
freebyfifty - i challenge you to a fuel duel lol! once in our 2 bedroom flat with 3 of us for 1 year our gas bil was .............. £65. yes we did wear jumpers and the occasional hat....and yes we spent as much time in the kitchen whilst cooking or the oven was on, we may have occasionally gotten dressed/undressed whilst under the bed covers after warming up first... but £65...hard to argue with.
suzitiger - i started a thread for those who are near their dfd or paid off a massive chunk of their debt and now finiding motivation hard to come by as i am seriously flagging with only over 2 grand to go. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/....php?t=4226563
BDINI - £8!!!:T you amaze me, one crazy day i may be there but the long road of changing my OH eating habits is only just started.:rotfl:
dont know yet if i will have an NSD, have resisted so far and i would have thought already i would spend as i knew i would be in my favourite shop, however i have an outfit to find for a christening next sunday and an office party and i have gone through my wardrobe and i dont have anything suitable for either.... first time in ages i can say, i have nothing to wear. mind you i have always been quite good at my wardrobe management.

Good afternoon folks,
No NSDs to declare since my last visit and definitely not for today, as I've been out doing Christmas shopping:eek:. With the exception of some vouchers and a few more bits and bobs, I'm almost finished:).
Noticeably colder in NI this week and there was frost on the windscreen this morning:mad:
I hope everyone is well and enjoying the weekend, as I have not yet caught up on the posts. If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
