    Good Morning :)

Here is Friday's update. Hope everyone is okay and surviving the weather  How it can be a beautiful autumn day one minute and then the most fierce thunderstorm with hailstones the next amazes me:eek:

Beanielou – NSD #4 all done and dusted for you. :j You are doing really well. :) I find that its never good to resist chocolate, it just sneaks up behind you and ambushes you when you’re least expecting it, so its best just to give in gracefully at the start.:rotfl:

Feel i should fill you all in about the work stuff... it's in progress, although my cover is blown & the whole office seems to know about it (& not from me):mad::mad: & i've already had some veiled threats about what might happen if i don't retract & deal with it informally, but i'm gonna stick to my guns & pray the union comes through for me!!
It's going to sound stupid, but i daren't say more as i'm so worried someone will be spying on me here.... guess that's what stress does to me  Keep your fingers crossed for me guys!!

I think someone is getting a little twitchy in the bottom department :rotfl: Stay with it and prove that good always wins over evil :rotfl: You are doing the right thing and, although I know its easy for me to say, hold your head high because you have done nothing wrong. (((((hug)))))

Does the milk then keep ok if it has been frozen?

Okay, so I am going to join in on the great milk debate.:o

Milk that has been frozen doesn't seem to me to last as long as fresh milk so I only freeze the 2 pint or 1 pint cartons to get us over until the next time I can buy a big 4 pint one.
Also it has to be really fresh when you freeze it and remember that milk expands as it freezes so always use/pour out a good inch before putting it in the freezer or you'll end op with frozen milk all over everything  - can you tell I know this through experience :rotfl:

Yes, I'm back again :o It seems you just can't shut me up this morning :o

I thought I'd just let the newbies know how I manage my NSDs (apologies to those who have heard it a thousand times before :o)

I have a weekly budget. This is for groceries, diesel and all the other little incidental stuff that adds up. If I am under budget or staying within my budget I class it as an NSD, if I am over then it's not and it won't be until I get to my new budget day (Saturday)
It is definitely helping me manage my money better and letting me live my life which, in the end, is what its all about :)

I am definitely going now :rotfl:

Hello, can I sign up late for this challenge please? We've hit a really bad cash flow crisis -we're completely skint and are going to stay so for a while, so I need to watch the pennies.

One problem is that I go to the supermarket probably every other day to pick up a little something and, you can imagine, I come away with extras!
So I'm going to aim for 10 NSD, and for me this will be days where I don't hand over any money in shops or for lunches etc.

I think I'll also do the 'envelope putting money aside' thing mentioned by others and get all my 'spends' for school lunches, trips, subs etc. done on one day.

    Here goes...
    Trying to keep in budget.

I managed to get another NSD in yesterday and one for today as well as not planning on leaving my house. Though I have managed my challenge of three in a row this week.. I am now going to try for 5 in a row next week but means I have to plan my shopping for next week's lunches.. So that's

5 NSDs so far and aiming for 5 in a row next week...
