 Why would you want to see through the door?
Because it is glass and meant to been looked in...It has lights inside...bulb had blown...
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

I don't think all men are like the ones described. I do think that the ones who act like the ones described should be gently "set free" again.

They'd never survive in the wild though

    And yet, we do ;)

I love this thread, I must get more popcorn as it looks like it'll run and run. :T

They do what lions do, the unattached males banding together. :D

My friend has friends in Papua New Guinea. There are all kinds of tribes there. Her friends belong to one where the women live in one compound, and the men in another.

When they came to London (a musical/cultural touring group), it was all very new to them. The men had a great time drinking, etc, and once my friend had to deal with the aftermath of a bonfire they'd built in their hotel room, which set off the smoke alarms.

The women were very businesslike - they came to London knowing what they wanted - they were hunting out condoms!

The men who weren't much cop were simply gently left to their own devices in the men's group and not mated with or not mated with again.

Mrs AO says that i cannot cook, but its been proven that i can cook -

    Beans on Toast
    Chicken Nuggets & Chips
    Home-made Pizza's
    Cheese-on-Toast
    Tuna Pasta

It struck me the other day, i dont actually need to cook. As financially i could probably afford to have a take-away every night of the month, though my waist line would increase from its current 31" as it is now. :)

As for men dealing with spiders, get a dog or cat, that will sort them! Maybe not a cat as ours bring back gifts, which OH has to deal with x
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
