Fuming at OH...

Yeah, you've got a point. What about sheet folding? I find it incredibly difficult to fold bedsheets if I'm alone. To be fair though, you don't actually need a man to help - you could ask a neighbour or something."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

My OH left the freezer open........three times........
The last time I made him come shopping to Tesco and pay to refill it with all the prawns, steak etc that was in there, honest

Me, he wouldn't have done it properly.
He has a habit of just shoving the fridge and freezer door in the vague direction of where they need to go. I can tell by the sound they make whether they've closed properly but he's oblivious apparently. In too much of a rush to get back to his PS3 usually. I've told him I'll de-knacker him if he leaves the freezer open again.0 -

I don't have to lift my OH in the first place though, although keeping him in the cellar with the left over emulsion isn't a bad idea.4.30: conduct pigeon orchestra...0 -
I think men should be like Hoovers. Kept in the cupboard, out of the way , until needed.
I have been an independent parent for 15 years, and the only thing I would need him for, would be mowing the lawn. God how I hate doing it.0 -

being taller than them is less hassle, though it's also irritating that you have no excuse not to get up an do things yourself but, then again, it also means they can reach all the important bits more easily

Stick a games console in there, and I don't think some of them would even notice a problem with this.0 -

Not quite the same but an OH rant nonetheless... He has had to do his first school run of the year this week. Now I mentioned that DD's new school starts slightly later than the infants so OH in his wisdom on Monday decides that school starts at 9.05; got parked up at 8.40; sat in the car with DD til 9 then walks her to the gate oblivious nobody else is around and leaves DD to walk in to school 10 minutes late for no reason other than he never thought to check with me what time the bell goes. Men! He's always doing half witted things; I should be used to it by now really.0
