Fuming at OH...

Need a vent...
Came home today and for the first time it's NOT raining. Went outside and found that OH has left the hosepipe outside tap running since Sunday:eek:

As the hose is attached to a wall, cue HUGE wet patch up the wall and god only knows what it's done to the shed next to it (I daren't look) - Aaagh!

Am really annoyed as it's not the first time he's done this. Have now isolated the whole thing from inside so he can't do it again in a hurry.

Now off out as I need to cool down......Vent over!
Penny: I'm a little low on cash.
Leonard: How much you got?
Penny: Nothing!
Leonard: How can you walk around with no money?
Penny: I'm cute, I get by.

  • Ooops! Are you on a water meter? I'd make him pay the bill if you are.

If it makes you feel any better my OH left the fridge door open when we went away for a long weekend last summer. Had to bin the lot and scrub it out :(

Either. Both. Although the second one might not realise why because the crime was so long ago. Bit like punishing puppies really - got to do it straight away or they just get confused.

Did you do the scrubbing or did he?
  • Men! Who'd have 'em?! They're only good for shagging you, and some of them are rubbish at that.

Be fair. The ones I've gone out with (haven't checked all the men out there, lol) have been excellent self propelled portable heaters for when you're freezing outdoors or in.

True, true. The one I've got is also useful for heavy lifting and carrying stuff.

  • They're good for reaching things on high shelves, I've found.

Isn't a stepladder less hassle though?

That is a good one. The thing is, since being widowed three years ago, there have only been two things I haven't been able to shift alone. That's once every 1.5 years.
