  • I have an iron. I think it's in the cupboard. I think it last got used in 2005.
That's an ironing routine that's awfully easy! :D

Good luck with your list and NSD :D:D:D:D:D

I usually don't mind I do it as it comes out the dryer, but because I've been busy with other stuff I now have nearly a weeks worth :o I have started though :) Brew then back to it :rotfl:

Hello, thought I'd pop over and say hi :hello:

My ironing routine is non existent as I buy cotton dresses etc and hang them on chairs to dry then hang straight up! I'm retry lazy and will wear stuff creased if needs be :o

I think your two goals are good ones and best to concentrate on a few things at a time. Have you asked doctor for some help as they had on radio last month lots about nhs helping you so might be able to get some free patches or something? I think the pro and con list is a good idea. Only pro I can think of is that if you smoke you are apparently more likely to make it to the top of Kilimanjaro if you chose to climb it (think its something to do with your body being used to less oxygen). Now I'm sure that you probably are not planning that any time soon so that cancels out the pro :rotfl: good luck with that, you will have let us know when you decide to quit so we can spur you on :A

I haven't yet but I'm already at the doctors twice this week and the hospital so I'm going to mention it. I think the big problem lies with I don't actually buy them. So I won't see the "money" iykwim?

Are you sure they do here? I wonder how I'd find out without looking stupid :rotfl:
  • I stopped smoking a few years ago with free patches from the GP. He'd been on at me for years anyway, so when I finally asked, he was happy as a munchkin to hand them out. I don't know what the situation is where you live, but you should be able to get free something!

By the way, it took me 3 tries to finally kick the habit. You might manage better than me but if you don't then don't beat yourself up :)

In our house, when things break, we just pretend they still work

Here comes the pro-giving-up-smoking woman :)

I think I come across like a born again religious person wanting to spread the good news - I'm sure it must be annoying really!

Anyway, it's quite tricky if someone else buys your ciggies for you, they should be kind to you and stop doing that!

It will save them a packet (sorry lol) and save your health :)

I gave up when it was a fiver for a packet and now it's about 7 quid isn't it!

    I think over the 8 years I haven't spent over £17,000 on cigs and haven't smoked 58,000 cigs :)

I like lists and tidying up too so appreciate your posts!

I don't iron though, not sure how I get away with that!
