Hey there, thought I'd pop by and subscribe to your diary and say hey

I hope tesco shop wasn't too painful
I like your idea of listing percentage of debt paid, I think I'm going to steal that, hope you don't mind!

Morning HI.
Well done for holding out on the Mr T order, i had to put mine in yesterday as we literally have nothing in the house for breakfasts or lunches.
i have been eating down the stocks, and have now reached the point where i have to buy more so that we can eat!
Now i want to start building an emergency winter stock

Things I want and NEED to do but I keep failing

- STOP SMOKING!! I need to do this desperately
- Go out at least one a day, even if its just a walk to the end of the road with the dog (this has got really bad to the point I'm not even attending appointments that I need to go to, I need to help myself and get out even if its the end of the garden path!)
These 2 will do for now.0 -
The pain of smoking has to outweigh the pleasure....do a list of pros and cons of smoking....I remember when I was giving up and I wrote the list of the reasons why I wanted to give up, I kept it with me and kept reading it for strength.
Here were some of my reasons:
The cost
The smell on my clothes, hair, breath, furniture
Greasy skin and hair
Couldn't breathe properly
Felt very anxious when I couldn't have one
The effect on others' health (passive smoking)
Having to stand out in the cold to smoke
I had a lot more reasons as well!
It was difficult to stop because it is a drug addiction but it can be done!
Do get the Allen Carr book if you can and read it, you have nothing to lose

I don't smoke, but I've heard good things about the Allen Carr book."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0
