Just bought the powerline adapters, make sure your power supply is on the same circuit or they don't work. My home hub is on a different circuit to where I use my laptop so house rewire job required (just the socket that supplies the Home Hub).0

I bought Develo 500 triple Homeplugs.
This allows me to connect my Smart TV, Blu-Ray player and Sky+HD to the internet even though my iMac is in an upstairs bedroom.
These plugs are (far) more expensive than others, but allow streaming of HD and 3D without any issues.0 -

You've got it, hub in the original part of the house and lounge in the new part both have different consumer units.
