Dry cat food - 4 cats

My combined cat weight at home is at the moment around 27kg - spread (not evenly) betwen 4 cats.
I still have a lot of dry cat food but will be needing to start buying some perhaps in November so need to know what to buy.
Just looked at Taste of the Wild and that would work out like £50 per month for my 4 :eek::eek:
Any recommendations for mid range dry cat food that does not cost a fortune?
Fred does not touch dry at all and that makes (my) life very complicated as still need to buy tinns. But that is sorted as unfortunately all I can afford is Classic or Asda's Tigger.
It is the dry food that I have problem with....
Thanks a lot.

Have you looked at the foods available on Zooplus? They tend to do some less mainstream foods that tend to be higher in meat content/better ingredients for a bit cheaper. They do economy packs in certain brands if you can bulk-buy too.0

Thanks - can not bulk buy, need to get all on monthly basis.
Taste of the Wild is from Zooplus, they have a lot more there but no idea which ones are good/bad to be honest.
They were on Taste of the Wild before my daughter ordered a trackfull of dry from US and still running on it but will finish in about a month or so so need to see what can I afford to get them.0 -
Porta 21 Sensible is grain free and a bit cheaper than Taste of the Wild. Have not tried it yet but it is often recommended here.
Asda have had Toplife chicken dinner on rollback at 68p for a tetrapack recently, much more meat/ less jelly than Butchers Classic so portion sizes are smaller. Goes down well here alternated with Classic, it's like Bozita pate but more chunky IYSWIM.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
What about Pah purely?
Thats often on offer, and not a bad food at all0 -
Porta would work out at around 35 per month so not bad, thanks for that.
PAH like Pets at Home I assume? Got to check that thanks0 -
Oh my lot love Classic or Tigger - exactly FOR the jelly.. sigh....
Used to feed Animonda but they went completely off this one, Bozita they never liked so wasted money there.
Need something cheap and risk free so wet wise sticking to Classic/Tiger.
I may feed Fred tinns on the quiet (when the rest are out) and keep the other 3 on dry.... Perhaps.... Hmmmm0 -
TBH, if your funds are low, then just stick with the Supermarket Brands (dry) and feed a slightly better wet (if that makes sense)
I use Tesco Dry (or sainsbogs if I am there) and then buy frozen blocks of meat (lamb/chicken etc) and give some of that with breakfast0 -
special offers on at Zoo+ today.....

Thats a VERY good price!
Cant work out how you get through quite so much of the stuff though GR!0 -
I find it cheaper to bulk buy online but if you cannot do that and need to shop more often I am not sure it would be economical to shop online unless you can get free delivery. As mention above supermarkets might be a better bet. My old cat lived happily on Iams (yes I know how bad they are now) and Whiskas pouches his whole life never had anything wrong with him. My new two are on Royal Cannin MC and Encore tins (super expensive but they only get 1 each a day). I find online cheaper for the RC for sure. Tried the Purina One when I was selected for the trial but it made them fart all the time so quickly went off that.
Your cats are lovely though I always enjoy reading your posts and looking at the picture. In particular Teddy he is so huge.Save £12k in 25 No 49
