    Dusty I would too!!

LW .. poodles are a bit like that anyway apparently.. delusions of grandeur.. I am so sad to hear about Sydney being unwell.. if now is his time then I hope for a painfree passing for him :(
Thank you; it's all we can wish for little Sidny. His "mum and dad" will be devastated, too; he's their furbaby, and was instrumental in his "dad" recovering quickly from a stroke.

As for poodles - yes, they can be funny dogs, but Peggy Sue and Pip were never any bother whatsoever, and they were both poodles. No, I fear Louie is a spoilt, totally undisciplined brat, and that's the crux of it. <sigh> It's sad - a well-trained dog can be such a joy, and can be allowed so much more freedom.

    <Gets off soapbox>:D
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Morning All!

Grey and dismal here, rain on the way. DS has asked if we can go swimming. Small pool is open at 12, and we'll have to wait for that as I can't hang on to them both on my own when they are in the deeper one.

Friday - Little bit of everything
    Level one
    Hoover anywhere that needs it
    Level two
    S&S sinks and toilets
    Dust pc/laptop screens/decrumb the keyboard
    Level three
Change any beds in need (including pets)
Try to get outside for 15 minutes, sweep the path, clean the cat flap or just enjoy the start of autumn
    Declutter/ebay/recycle at least 5 things
    Extras
    Catch up on mending
    Do some crafts/puzzles/something you enjoy
Make a list of just 5 things that you will achieve in October

    My five for October:
    Lose 7lb
Have a toy sort before Xmas
    Finish the pre-winter garden jobs
Finish my current work project on time
Find a relaxing hobby that fits in with life

I think I might combine the crafts and mending. I need to make a mini version of DDs comfort blankie to sew on to this years square of her patchwork quilt. It's a taggie blankie and my last attempt was woeful. Although she gave it to her dolly as a comforter :A
Then I will try to locate a felt patch in the shape of a tiger, for DS' quilt.

    It's FRIDAY!!!

I've changed the bedding (now in wash, will have to go on airers due to dismal day) and have vacuumed and swept through the house. Also, sorted clothes that were still on airers and emptied the kitchen bin. Paid stuff now beckons.

  • Good morning :D I am a bit happier today :) I must have got out of the wrong side of the bed yesterday.

After work I went to Mr T's for food shop, then petrol (had a voucher to use up). Spent WAY too much money  I did buy Bubba a Vtech walker that was on special, as he is ready for it & I don't have one.

DH took the dog for a walk - in his car!! (The first time ever - he calls it his sports car :rotfl:) the dog didn't like it much so I don't suppose it will be happening very often!

I am off to a Macmillan Coffe morning with a friend & Bubba. Bag is packed, just need to put a bottle in. Should be a nice relaxing morning :) And lots of homemade cake - yum!!

I am hoping DH will take my TD to the shop for a quote today - I am getting desperate :( How sad am I? :o

    Morning all

Hope you are all well. I didn’t get a thing done last night, because boiler man came just after 12, left after 3, new heat exchanger required, so he is coming back today. DH had to go to bed at 4 as he had hardly any sleep, told him to give DS the DS to play with until I came in. I got in at 5.40, made DS & DD roasted cheese for dinner (bad mother that I am) as DS had anchor boys at 6. Went out to get some shopping, collected DS at 7, bathed both of them, got them supper & bed by 8, got DH up, had dinner, uniforms out, quick tidy up then sat down to watch TV for an hour with DH before he went to work then I fell asleep on the sofa, woke up at 1.05
Also got the news from garage that the fault on my car is some erv valve or something £280.00 to fix
