    Hello,

I've read along with a couple of your threads before and yesterday I actually joined in, and am so pleased with myself so thought I would report back to you all :o

I also washed the net curtain, ironed it and re-hung it which included fixing the hook properly in to the wall (DH was meant to do this the other day). I sanded and re-varnished the windowsill which has been looking very scruffy for a while. I also cleaned all the grout up properly too and touched up the walls with paint which is a job that has needed doing for a long time too.

I stood back and looked at it all when I was finished and was soooooo proud. I think it may have just spurred me on to get going with the other rooms. :D

Declutter/ebay/recycle at least 5 things - This is a main thing I need to work on, so will challenge myself to 10 things today (I find this job so dull!)
    Extras
    Catch up on mending
    Do some crafts/puzzles/something you enjoy
Make a list of just 5 things that you will achieve in October

Abis welcome and well done on what you have achieved so far.

Giving myself 5 minutes on here then back to it, I want as much done before the weekend as possible.

  • Hugs to anyone who's feeling less than fab today.

Two frogs have been tackled this week, one I'm happy I've done as much as I can and the other really, really scarey one has been started. I've been putting it off for six months, fretting about it every single day so it's a relief to have taken the first step this morning.

I'm off out for lunch now which is highly unusual. I feel in need of a bit of girl talk. Have a good day, everyone.
    Better is good enough.

Just had to look up what frogs were (in relation to this obviously :rotfl:) Well done for doing 2 frogs :T:T

My frog definately has to be selling things. I have piles and piles of things ready to ebay, but so put that task off for as long as possible. I am going to do it straight away today tho when I get in (and because I wrote that down I can't back out of it now)

    Hello

welcome Abis, what a great start!

We have decluttered a bag of crackers as we went to feed the ducks. Wandered round the "pond" and into the woods for a mini adventure, played on the swings in the rain, then back to the car just in time before the heavens really opened.

Making use of our wellies and raincoats. A good time had by all. Kiddies are fed and having a quiet hour watching cbeebies.

I'm shattered. Had a few hours in spare bed last night to get away from the wrigglers, but the littlest one came looking for me at about 5.

Not a lot done today, other than keeping on top of kitchen jobs. Conservatory is trashed - covered in toys...

I am sill here but not really flying in a cleaning way. Trying to declutter and make cash instead but I keep seeming to hit a brick wall. We had a new cleaner start last week as we weren't happy with the old one and the house is so much cleaner now :D

I know quite a few of you have a bread maker and use it regularly, can anyone recommend one? After chatting to mum the other day I think this would be a good present for her for a date in December! I have no idea about them though so would like some advice.

Found a website I thought I could sell some books on but they don't want any of the ones I have so need to re-think what I do with them. Any ideas?

Also going to give Ebaying a go but have never sold many things on it. After tonight I will have a few things but want to wait for one of these free-listing thingys if possible (how much difference does it make?), how do you get things ready?
