Today I picked up a pack of two Jamaican Ginger Cakes for £1.00 in Iceland.
The large tubs of Heinz beans are £1.00 too - The fridge pack ones.
Great idea for a thread BTW!
The ginger cakes would go well with the tinned pears to make pear and ginger trifle!0

In both the Tescos I've been in , tinned pears are marked at full price. Is it just that they scan at 19p.DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0

Found 4 of the 15p tins of pears in Tesco Express (marked 15p on the shelf):j
While in the shop, I also found (all correctly marked on the shelves):
 tins of Rice Pudding 12p
 gravy granules 20p
Branston beans 4-pack for £1.32 (there are cheaper own brand beans, but while these nice ones were on a good offer I wanted to get these)
squeezy bottles of tomato ketchup 19p
East End chickpeas 4 tins for £1
got a small trolley full for about £11 and am taking them shortly to local Food Bank - well chuffed with the bargains and thank you to all the people posting their finds on here - it means my donations are stretching a lot further!:j0

Firstly thank you to OP, I got the 15p tins today. In both the Tescos I've been in , tinned pears are marked at full price. Is it just that they scan at 19p.
You have to visit a Tesco EXPRESS to get the 15p tins, I check in our EXTRA store (big one in town) and they were about 60p. In the EXPRESS store the self label said 15p and thats what I got charged.0

OOPS, didn't notice the Express bit. None of them anywhere near here. I'll be more observant next time (hopefully). Thanks.DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.0

Lenor was in Camberley. Forgot to say, it is the pure care white one. Blue and yellow were £6.xx It was on the price label and scanned through fine
I'm popping back later as the sales assistant who was changing labels on the Schwartz said there will be more reductions as that store will not be stocking certain things any longer. So that could mean the reductions do not apply in larger branches, not sure, sorry.0
