  • Hello its me again,

I am trying to locate the toothpaste list, Henlans posted an updated list yesterday but the toothpaste is still missing.

Is it still working please I know its the steradent 30 which makes it glitch I am just after the list, I have been onto the old threads but I am not finding the list.

When I put toothpase in the search box it just brings up a thread with goodness knows how many posts on it.

Any help would be apprecited please.

Also I meant to say Magicowen you really are been tested at the moment your Aunt sounds like a nightmare, the only saving grace will be that hopefully the house will sell quickly, I know you probably don't want it to, but it will help you to have closure.

I really would not advise you to be at the viewings though, the reason being that some people can be quite horrible when commenting on a house they may put an offer in on. They only want to point out the bad points it is not meant personally but it can be hurtful.

For this reason I feel you would find it too upsetting, as you want to have the happy memories and it was your beloved Grandads home.

Good news on Percy too. xxx

I am thinking of getting my soon to be 6yo dd a NDS lite or DSi or 3DS. Do you think she is too young? also she once got hold of mine and dropped it and the hinge snapped, is there any way of reinforcing the hinges so this does not happen again? like a case or something?

    thanks xxx

I know plenty of 4 year plds that get plenty out of a NDS lite, so a 6 year old would be heaven with one. I would say do NOT get her a 3DS, it is known to give some people headaches.

As for a case, a quick google threw up this one, do not know much about it but looks great for a 6 year old. I do not know if it protects the hinges or not.

  • If you submit a receipt and it's capped due to the maximum £100 limit is there anyway around this (without manipulating times within 1 minute etc as they sometimes validate them in store) to generate the full value voucher. Just interested as this senario will happen to me sooner rather than later. Best to PM if there's a solution. Thanks.

Were you aware of a lot of activity on the shop floor?

There were a couple of guys wandering about repricing things, but otherwise, no. That was about 9.30 am mind you.

Thank you so much bubbs, Think I'll give it a go tomorrow with a few items :)

Think I'll go with this if it all adds up. I'm assuming I don't need more fillers?

Ambrosia Rice Pudding Original or Chocolate (120g)
    Weetabix Golden Syrup (522g)
Alpen Coconut & Milk Chocolate bars (x5)
    Kellogg's Frosties (750g)
Kellogg's Krave Chocolate Hazelnut / Milk Chocolate or White Chocolate Brownie (375g)
    Nestle Cheerios (600g)
Cif Bathroom Mousse Citrus Burst (500ml)
    Pantene Pro-V Repair & Protect Conditioner (400ml)
    Pantene Pro-V Repair & Protect Shampoo (500ml)

I try and keep my shopping total too £16.70 on a w's shop as this gives the closest to the maximum £15 apg, And I count 10 items here needs to be in multiples of 3 including the rice.:)

Funny thing happened to me at Longwell. I was doing the first of a couple of shops and bumped into an Sa that dosen't like what were doing!!. She said "so you're still at it then!" I just carried on walking. When I got to ss, I was about to go to till and a security guard appeared:eek: He said that I couldn't use vouchers for my shop as I'd used more than 10 and knew what I was up to!!!, This was with trout Sa in the background. I just replied "ok" and went up to till and started scanning, Guard said "did you hear what I said", I replied "yes, I haven't got any vouchers, I have a gift card!" Off he went with his tail between his legs and the Sa red with fuming:rotfl: To really pi55 them off, I done another 8 shops:rotfl:

Can I ask did you get all your vouchers put on a gift card on Sunday. I seem to remember you saying that. I went there yesterday with a £25.00 APG and they were really stroppy. Did you do 8 more APG shops. If so how brave are you?

No way is she too young... one of mine has been playing on NDS or innotab or laptop since the age of two.

The are great for hand / eye co-ordination and have very good learning games. Kids learn loads whilst they think they are just playing games.

All my 4 of my girls have had some sort of electronic equipment from a young age and as long as it is monitored correctly it is fine.

They don't actually like playing on the Wii with the normal Wii games and now prefer to go on the laptop and go on the kids educational sites. Just tonight my youngest was learning her letters on the laptop on the 'superwhy' kids site. A DS is a good learning tool.
