    The only "invite" I got was via my iPhone/iPad telling me that it had downloaded iOS6 and was ready to imstall.

    Haven't done so as yet though.

    It's entirely true that upgrading to IOS 6 has broken every single handset it's been applied to.

    I have a iPhone 3gs and updated to io6 all working fine

    i was a bit disappointed it that it did't get most of the stuff like the maps..to me its just like the last io5 with youtube taken off.

    No need, just go to the main google maps site and add it to your home screen, why would you need an app?
