    Why can't a football park there? :rotfl:

    I'll get my coat lol
    Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
    They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
    Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

    Report to the DVLA, who will pass it onto the BPA, but at least it gives all parties something to do

    A brand new business has set themselves up doin MOTs in an old car sales showroom. First thing after putting their name on the shop front (mot superland or something like that) is to put a metre square sign on the front door saying "no Unauthorised or illegal parking, offenders will be clamped, £100 release fee"

    I can't see that business remaining long, what a way to treat potential customers. Its not like its in an area where parking is limited either.

    Except that clamping is actually illegal now, is it a ppc doing that by the way or just the garage ? I would be inclined to go and tell them that they would be breaking the law to do that

    Just been back to Derby, and the Euro car parks penalty signs have been removed, so it looks like theyve seen, and removed it to stop any complaints to the DVLA.

    however i have spotted another gem, im not going to post it just yet, as i would like to know if it would warrant a legitimate complaint to the DVLA its from a well known and often posted about PPC in a Pay and display car park;
    on the signs next to the pay and dsiplay machines read something like this..( note ive altered some bits to try and mask its location)

    Car park prices:
    7 days a week, 7am-9pm

    up to 1 hour £2.50
    up to 2 hours £3.50
    up tpo 3 hours £4.50
    maximum stay 3 hours

    instructions
    Place ticket in windscreen in a claerly visable position, no free parking for disabled drivers.

    Penalties

    a civil Penalty charge of £85 will be issued in the following circumstances:
    1: failing to display a valid ticket 2: parked in an unauthorised area, 3: parked on yellow lines or ontop of hatched out areas and zones 4: obstructing others 5: failiong to park within the lines of a mrked bay 6: going beyond the time on your ticket 7: parking in a disabled space without correctly showing a valid disabled badge 8: any other reason that the car park officer deems appropiate 9: it is an offence to transfer or to accept tickets 10: failing to display a current tax disc upon the windscreen of your conveyance

    if payment of the notice is made within 14 days half the amount will be taken in a full and final settlement

    this site is managed on behalf of ( name changed) large retail land owner by a ( name changed/obscured) well known PPC

    <Logo of PPC>
    <logo of large retail land owner >

    the well known ppc is also a member of the BPA AOS there are no bpa logos on the sign only that of the ppc and the large retail owner.
    From the Plain Language Commission:

    "The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"

    Defintely worth reporting to the DVLA with a picture of the sign & info about where this is - the word PENALTY was meant to have been banned well over a year ago for BPA members.
