Thanks minicooper and Maman for the recipes, i'll be giving both of those a go within the next week or 2 :)

Am off shopping at Lidl this morning (for those of you who are preparing for winter, they are doing draught excluders for £3.99). I'm pretty sure i'll stay within budget, as i dont need that much.

Sorry to state the bloomin' obvious but I forgot to add seasoning to taste to casserole recipe!:o

I am in love with their tins of ratatouille (sp??) as well! I can easily polish off a whole tin with a bread roll and roasted chicken drumstick for lunch..yum!!

Had to buy milk again (we now do 12 pts a week as opposed to 4 since DD is on the stuff). So £1.74 to add bringing my new total to £19.69/£200 on day 4.

Am over budget by 3.79 this week because I struck very lucky in Tesco and Asda yesterday

So for my 23.79 I got

    Smoked salmon, five packs
Rump steak (will do 6 meals)
    Prawns
    1kg minced lamb
    Pork lion chops 4
    Steak and kidney (500g)
    Chicken Breasts (3)
    Ready meals currry (2)

The salmon alone would have been 23.94

In Asda I got 6 packs of warm chargrilled chicken salad, 20p instead of 2.00 each. 4 x500g prepared carrots at 5p each instead of 50p. Stirfry veg at 5p. and loads of other bits.

I estimate that I have saved over 60.00 on this, I draw my 20.00 again tommorow but am thinking I dont need anything for next week at all.

Right off to prepared all the reduced veg and dehydrate it as no more room in freezer, which seems to have got over its fit earlier in the week.

I spent about £10 today, less, but rounded it up and got a stack of stuff. Morrisons had their savers mozzarella 2 packs for 50p if anyones interested. I would be doing ok, if it stopped there. But gutsy me could not resist the alcohol bargains in Asda, so i have a big shop making its way to me. I will not be adding all that to this month, as most(!!!) is going to be stored for xmas, i got 2 x absolute peach vodka @ £10 each, they are normally about £18.99 (i think)
    .
ETA Rejected my Asda Order, as half the booze i ordered was not there, bad substitutes, so budget still intact.

EDIT Becksfaz - thanks v much for the prices, seems v similar
    Meg72 - Wow thats a lovely haul
Duvessa - welcome to the thread

    Hi everyone,

    Budgets done to here :)

Small spend today in Co$tco on a piece of pork belly to cook on Saturday when we have friends over. I also bought some cereal from 2nd purse. Will update totals in a bit.
