I used to do (or at least attempt!) this challenge regularly but have been around for a very long time now. Really, really need to get back to my challenges! I'm setting myself a very realsitic manageable target of £350 for October to get back in to the habit. Its going to have to drop pretty drastically in the coming months though.

In case somebody likes Heinz soups, like tomato, oxtail, chicken, they are 4 for 2 pounds in Iceland at the moment.
We only have a small Iceland and they had all the three different soups and one or two more which I cant remember.

I spent 22.50 today but got quite alot and only need to buy maybe 10 or 20 pounds worth during the week, that should be fine.

Please can I join in, this is exactly what I need. Shopping is often where my budget seems to get blown.

I am going to try for £350 for October.

I have already spent , £100.70. In macro, but got enough washing powder, toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc.

The went to Mr T and spent , £56.89

So that's £192.41 for the rest of the month, should be ok freezer bursting

A spend for me today, £11.43 on dry bunny food (nearly £5 ) and some veg for me and bunny, 4 x naan, milk and some bottles of still water.

Decided to top up today as it was a spend day on other things, so should get to the end of the week now before need to spend from grocery budget again.

Used my back up £10 for bunny's sawdust, this usually lasts around a month.

    Hoping for some NSD's now.

£16.53 spent today, that should hopefully last the week despite me having a storecupboard consisting of nothing but half an eggcupful of salt left by an obliging previous lodger :o

Any fellow can't-live-without-Yorkshire-tea-no-matter-how-poor-ers - they are 2 for £3 in Sains.
    GC Oct: £71.22/£80 = £8.78 left

£13.63 spent today, that's this week's shopping done. Most of that money was on cat food and drinks (coke addiction...:o), didn't really need much food though already got bread, veg, milk, freezer bits etc.
