    Hi everyone,

I used to do this challenge a while back but lost track...I never could keep up with the thread! I am hoping to start again but this time I probably will not try so hard to keep up with the thread as I just don't have the time, but I'll give it a read as & when I can.

There's just me & DH (who eats like a horse some days) so we are aiming to spend no more than £150 this month. We have spent £61.38 already leaving £88.62 for the rest of the month.

I've also started posting on the meal planning thread to try & ensure I do a meal plan every week & don't fall off the wagon again. Good luck everyone :)

Jedi hope your kiddies are ok. Bless them both.

I have just done a online MrT delivery for tomorrow. Was £68 but DH got a code through post this morning for £10 and it worked on my account :) So came in under £60 (aslong as it doesnt go up much when they deliver?) I am aiming for between 50-60 2 times a week, so only just under budget :)

What would you do with left over pork?? We dont normally have any left overs but have a big lump left and have no idea what to do with it......any ideas??

    Hey all :hello:

I needed bread and milk yesterday but I was working so my sister was going to pick it up for me... She just chucked it in with her own shopping and didn't take any money for it... Bless her :)

So far ive spent nothing, and I know I shouldnt get too excited... It's only the first :rotfl: but hey... Every pennies a prisoner and all that :D (credit to whichever mse'r that statement came from :) )

Anyway, have managed to meal plan today at Uni from memory up until Thursday so will have a shuffle round the cupboards when I get home to see what else I've got to eek it out. Hopefully we will be fine for Teas over the weekend.

I'm going to need bits for packed lunches before then though so will need to sort a list and be strict with myself when I go shopping!!!!

I have done a meal plan for the entire month in order to try and claw back some sanity over the huge spend at the weekend! Amazing how much food I actually do have in the freezer and storecupboard, apart from bread, milk and fresh fruit and veg I dont need to buy anything!

i did appalingly last month, a massive overspend which ive declared in the september thread, im going to stick below (hopefully)
    £400 for october

i need to make room in the freezer for christmas so will be mostly eating out of it this month which will hopefully be cheaper than buying so should pull my spends down a bit
