Email exchange with customer service made me cry!

Have just tested the credit card page and it is NOT https :eek: as you rightly said. The site has been up since 2000 by my investigations- wonder how no-one has mentioned this earlier.

I think it is in the filter, because before I started this thread I did a thorough search of these forums to find any mention of them. I got 2 results showing discount codes, but when I clicked on them it was starred out.

I presume it might be because of people posting up their discount codes??

Anyway its beauty !!!!!! (as in the American spelling)

I think as many peeps as possible should use the contact card on their site to email them saying that we want to place an order but notice the credit card page is not https and could they please advise!!!! :rotfl:

I clicked on the help part of the checkout page and it waffled on about how the details don't get sent it's just to check that they are correct. I'm not exactly technical but surely if you enter something on a site, to check the details are correct it has to be sent somewhere and if that webpage isn't secure then anyone could grab what you have sent.

OMG:eek: I cannot believe the arrogance of the person sending these mails to the OP. Disgusting. If it were me, the MD would be getting a very harsh letter!

In response to them sending you a copy of the Proof of Postage and they wouldn't be able to give you a refund because they wouldn't have it anymore, etc. Haven't they heard of a photocopy?!

If I replied to emails like that at work, a customer would have my neck. Although I must admit sometimes I feel like doing it but I wouldn't lol.

It sounds like they are being a bit "your so stupid and I know better" type of thing.
