Which Norton to buy?

No it's not a crime, and not that important in the scheme of things, but it grates every time I see it, and wastes my valuable time.:D
You are not alone in calling it Nortons. I am just trying to stem the flow into popular culture.
Next lesson:
"loose" instead of "lose"
"must of" instead of "must have"
"to" instead of "too"
And Where Do The People Come From Who Start Every Word With Capitals?
"Experince" instead of "experience";)Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -

The trouble is that people now say "must of" (as I heard a radio presenter say last night) instead of "must have", hence it gets written like that.
Albertross, you're not the only who finds such things annnoying

My opinion? If you want to buy; Kasperky. If you want a free option; Avast.

I have evaluated all of the afore-mentioned programs, apart from Norton.
Wasn't particularly enamoured with AVG, though it's possible that they have improved it.0 -

I understand what you are saying, and you are correct about Nortons being Norton.
I do make a few minor errors almost every post
However, I normally know when I have made errors in spelling and its to do with me typing fast.
I just tend to leave them if only minor mistakes and what I have written is still readable. It's just not worthwhile, as I dont get a well done sticker anymore.
Just a warning: Expect some moor spelling mistakes from me!:p0 -
Millionare, your user name is spelt incorrectly

Spelling mistakes and typo's I can live with (firefox has a nice spellchecker that highlights them for me!). The problem with boards like this, is that people read them, and may pick up the same bad habits, so I just mentioned it in passing, to try and stop the trend.
I think I'd be pulling my hair out if I was an English teacher nowadays.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
