I asked them to call as i advised them i was interested in using their services and discussed with them the recent ban from using DVLA data.
He started to blame the BPA saying they had audited him and said all his signs were, said the DVLA had opened up a whole can of worms and claims he sent them 5 tickets from his competitors which he said was worthy of a ban!!
Also stated he was seeing his "barrister today" about the DVLA ban, he was very p****d of with the BPA
Seemed to think he would be able to over turn the ban as the BPA had misadvised him.....
Sounded like a bit of a wide boy if you ask me
Astounding. Does he not understand that it's the DVLA that has banned him not the BPA?
Still, good news if they're shopping each other now!Je suis Charlie.0 -
Oh dear, that'll cost him a couple of grand just for the barrister to say hello to him, let alone actually do any legal work :rotfl:. What a shame - NOT.BASFORDLAD wrote: »Also stated he was seeing his "barrister today" about the DVLA ban, he was very p****d of with the BPA0 -
Just to update you all, I've not yet received a chase up letter from VP Parking Solutions.
Their original letter was dated 19th September and explained that my charge would go up to £94.00 after 14-days. I was expecting a revised charge notice to land on my doormat promptly around the 4th/5th, but nothing as yet....
I wonder if they'll just leave it until around the end of this month then I'll hear from their 'debt collectors'?
Will keep you updated......0 -
You seem worried. "Debt collector" sounds ominous but is actually something slightly softer than tame, try powerless!
There is no £94 agreement between you and VP, if it believes you owe them their original demand, they can take it to adjudication. The very mention of a rise to £94 if unpaid is a clear indication that they ain't heading to no court!!
If you want, when the first debt collector letter comes, reseal it, and bung it back in the post but mark it "Refused as scam - return to sender".0 -

Phone the DVLA if you don't believe me. Once I have the information I will post it on here. This is 100% genuine0
