Would it be worth people on here getting tickets from all the PPC's in the last few days before the 1st to see how many claim to be able to charge the RK so that the DVLA suspend them too.

    Yes definately, !!
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
    For clampers there's Barclaycard.

Well what a disclaimer: no waiting, turning, overnight parking, picking up, dropping off, what about making love in the vehicle? How about driving around the car park at 60 MPH and doing handbreak turns or doughnuts, with loud music... doesn't say you can't do that!

    Now read this:
If the PCN is not paid, details will be requested from the DVLA. Photographs will be taken.

I hope they get it in the right order! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

VP is authorised by the land owner to charge the registered keeper. - as if the land owner can stipulate such measures.

If they are breached, the keeper will be charged for tresspass and breach of contract. Right, so it carries charges does it. VP will charge you with tresspass? What have they got? Their own police station and cells? Tresspass laws are extremely weak and barely applicable here anyhow. So will they surround the home of the registered keeper with machine guns and a megaphone because of what his wife did, drag him away in handcuffs, read his his rights and charge him?

These stooges are as thick as the clampers.

None of which activities are "parking", therefore they cannot issue a Parking Charge (despite what they may call it), so they do not fall within the scope of the POFA in making the registered keeper liable come next month.

I can see some fun here with claims of RK liability!

What if the driver waits while the passenger gets out to read the sign?

And how would someone turning be able to get out to read the sign while they were turning?

I read that as saying 'even reading this sign, declining the terms and leaving the site will be taken as acceptance of this contract'.

You've read the terms and conditions, and rules are rules. They may be unfair but that's tough. You wait while your passenger reads the T&Cs, you've breached the contract, the vehicle keeper shall be charged with tresspass and breach of contract!!!!!!!!
  • NO TURNING -
when you enter the car park, your steeling wheel is to remain at zero degrees as if locked, or you've breached the contract! :rotfl:

anyone got steve hopkins email address ?
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
