Just had a thought, if they have signs up like in post #10 saying they are going to get RK details from the dvla, well they can't as they are suspended so wouldn't their signs be in breach so should be reported to the dvla ?

You may well be right. It is misleading.

Also why are they still showing as AOS members (without any note or asterisk) on the BPA website which, if a victim tried to do some research into their fake ticket, might convince the person that they were legit and to pay up.

The BPA should be made to show which members are currently suspended or it makes a mockery of the 'correct signage' thing in a way.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It makes a mockery of the bpa in any case as they are legally not compliant signs, so where are the sanctions from their trade body for breaking the law ? Where is the suspension from the bpa for serious misconduct ? Guess we'll be waiting a long time for the bpa to act on their members acting illegally
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Of course they won't, it's all just a front. Do they really think they can halt this journey of progress??

Im going to be out and about tommorow, on the M1 then towards the East midlands (Long Eaon/Nottingham areas) stopping in plenty of car parks on the way, Asda ( TCP ?) Tesco ( highview?) Motorway services ( C&P??) possibly a German supermarket (aldi/lidl) and maybe an out of town shopping center, as well as East midlands airport (APCOA )

Im Aware that there is something that possibly shouldnt be on the signs, but what exactly should i be looking out for in the wording that could possibly warrant the DVLA to suspend access?

Anything that implies that the Registered Keeper is liable or responsible in any way for the 'fine'.

As well as the obvious things like any use of the words fine or penalty.
  • What a joke these lot are

I asked them to call as i advised them i was interested in using their services and discussed with them the recent ban from using DVLA data.

He started to blame the BPA saying they had audited him and said all his signs were, said the DVLA had opened up a whole can of worms and claims he sent them 5 tickets from his competitors which he said was worthy of a ban!!

Also stated he was seeing his "barrister today" about the DVLA ban, he was very p****d of with the BPA

Seemed to think he would be able to over turn the ban as the BPA had misadvised him.....

Sounded like a bit of a wide boy if you ask me
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
    For clampers there's Barclaycard.
