I also find the £ shops good for packaging - typically 20p for a padded envelope from £land.

Not as good as TwinnyD's 13p, but they're on just about every high street these days...

Have had a good clear out today, now have lots of 99p items on.

I was thinking maybe use wallpaper as well?

I actually say on my listings that I use recycled packaging wherever possible. Which explains the odd looking parcels I send . I do save tissue paper though, which helps make things look nice.

Postage is a pain, I hate it when I've underestimated and you can guarantee its the cheapy item that ends up costing you to sell it.

All packaging is stuffed away in our kitchen for the next time I have an eBay frenzy, I really dislike having to send money on packaging. Would rather put the money towards a new Barbour coat for the Winter, lol!

I under estimated last time, was much more careful this time, and only underestimated on 1 item, however did overestimate and altogether an £6 up which is good but then Im thinking, am I therefore aunreasonable postage costs?? It was nt my intention to over, just dont seem very good at it. Im sure I'll improve!

I measure the actual item weight and then allow for up to 50g extra for packaging (it's normally far less than this). Packaging is charged at close to cost (so I'll pay 20p for an envelope, charge 25p). I probably recoup a little bit of my charges, but we're talking pennies and I've never had any complaints
