Natty's Kicking her Mortgage in the Pants Diary

Thank you for the posts virtual world friends:T
I think ammonite is quite correct re. eb*y where I am an unknown entity as a seller, whereas the other seller has 100% feedback.....I did check again (sorry MG), the other bids are over twice as much as mine - although my watchers have increased to 15, perhaps late bids towards closing? If not, my one and only bidder will get a real bargain!
Regarding the car, I will just have to sit tight and either swallow the large bill or 'celebrate' a further reduction. It could be tons worse, some folks (especially on DFW board) are really struggling with debts on little or no income, whereas my worse-case scenario is minimising mortgage O/Ps in the short term. Ah well, lesson learned:wall:
Another great day with my work buddies:D my sides and cheeks were sore with laughter and I had a meeting with an external colleague who handed me a large bag of 'housie' magazines as a wee gift:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
I am feeling a wee bit headachey tonight, lots of bugs going about just now which I think may have found their way into my system. Nothing that a good dose of chocolate won't sort out though;)
Looking forward to chillaxing with diaries tonight and catching up with friends over the weekend. Oh and selling big style on eb*y:p

I would love it if a wee bidding war starts tomorrow HDK:D How are you getting on?
When my eb*y ends, is there anything to stop me from re-listing there and then?
Oh my goodness, I have started to watch Stand Up....on Ch4, absolutely heartbreaking stories - terrible disease XFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Hi Natty
Sorry to hear that the car has been causing you stress.
I like you was most  to see the boards were down last night. I was all settled on the sofa (first night this week had chance to sit down) ready to have a spin round the boards ... and nothing! LOL
I can't bring myself to watch the Ch4 thing - as I lost one of my best friends last year to the evil disease - and even a year on it's still very raw. Great fundraising though
Good luck on the ebay sales. You could well have a last minute flurry of activity - especially if you have a number of watchers. I tend to find that a lot of people these days don't bid until the last possible time to try and prevent them getting outbid by the auto-bid things. Will keep my fingers crossed for you0 -
Yes, intend to relist straightaway as its free listing again this weekend. Not sure how many times you can, Im assuming till they sell?? I did take a bit of each though.
Must say, I do watch the last few minutes. Best was time sold 1930s doors (earlier in year and very first ebay sales) and they did literally bid war. Fab! Then followed quickly a fear they would think they paid too much but as Id described them all accurately and started at 99p, didn't get any negative comments when collected! I had bought 7 for 99p and used 2 in house (as just needed 2 more for renovation) and sold rest for £70 in total. class it as my best EVER buy!
Watched Not going out, in my job, tend to avoid that sort of programme.Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... It's GONE!!!!!

Thanks BookWorm and HDK -I also find these programmes difficult to watch. Actually, I'm now watching Tuesday's episode of Cuckoo (v. funny!)
HDK - £70 sale is FANTASTIC:T You must have been over the moon....it just goes to show that you never know!
I intend to re-list (if I can), as nothing to lose. I must remember to buy brown paper tomorrow as regardless what happens, I still have 2 bids and will parcel for posting on Monday. Hopefully I can build up positive feedback so that buyers won't fear me:pFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

The buyers dont seem to leave feedback though, I always leave feedback as its like a courtesy but I bet out of 10 sales Ive only got 2 feedbacks. or it comes much later.

Yeah I found that too. I noticed when I buy things that the seller would only leave feedback after I had done so for them first - and so now I do the same. Seems to encourage more/quicker feedback that way...0 -
Oh nooooo 5.30am:eek:
I've had no wine tonight at all, not too sure whether I'm feeling a bit bleurrghh with possible lurgy or whether the £2.99 wine just doesn't cut the mustard and I need to go back to my usual £10 but for half-price bottles.......
I made myself hot milk earlier on and sprinkled very out-of-date cinnamon on top v.:money: of me.
I think that on-demand still has Peep Show episodes so might just get cosied for bed and watch those. Then manifest some eb*y sales in my sleep.
Hope work is okay for you tomorrow, and we can compare our eb*ying soon:DFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
