**WARNING WARNING MOANFEST**WARNING WARNING MOANFEST**WARNING WARNING MOANFEST**

Aaarghh to last night's 'forum down'. I had my jams on, wine poured (actually getting a tad sick of the £2.99 wine - it's like the time I rediscovered mulled wine a couple of years ago and made it so regularly that I became_pale_ at the thought of the stuff)

I received gutting news on the money front which is all to do with great big gas-guzzler (leased through work).
Firstly I received a bill for £220 for going over mileage, and I thought that was:eek: enough.

Then, the day before yesterday I received 'discharge' repairs bill (dents, scratches, scrapes etc etc) for £980!!!!!!!:eek::eek:
Fortunately my lovely work immediately questioned this, however the revised bill is still sitting at £545 for which I think is :eek::eek::eek::eek: however I am now fighting a reduction of this under the 3 year fair wear and tear policy.

This won't fully reduce to £0 unfortunately, however hopefully muchos less.

On the Eb*y front I have a few more watchers and no fresh bids. I checked one of my popular 14 watchers / 1 bid item against similar. The other seller has 6 bids, higher postage rate and IMHO not as good condition - I also felt our photographs were pretty similar so didn't think that my attempt was that terrible:think: Ah well:cool:

AND I failed and bought a magazine last night :o:eek::o:eek::o:eek::o:eek:

On the work front, this week has been great - I think that myself and colleagues have had a belly laugh every single day as everyone has been on such top form. Although this has incurred much socialising around lunchtimes = spends. Out to lunch again today, which although is :D is also  but mostly :D:D:D

Thank you for letting me unload X

Not good about the car :( Hope it gets reduced further for you.

As for eBay, do you have much feedback? If you are new to eBay and have few feedbacks, people would rather go with something that doesn't look as good in my opinion just because the other person has more trustworthy feedbacks. I don't like buying from new sellers either because they aren't all trustworthy or quick at posting. I know we all have to start somewhere of course! Hopefully you'll have a flurry in the last few minutes of the auction which is what tends to happen.

Hope you have a good day :)
  • Morning NP, sorry to hear about the car  fingers crossed it gets reduced further.

Nightmare re car natty, I hope you make some progress at getting it reduced further.

Enjoy your lunches and friends, life's too short to miss out on all of the things that put a smile on our face.

Sorry to hear about those bills Natty, pretty poor news going into the weekend. On the plus side, we're going into the weekend :)

Enjoy your lunch, I've never really worked anywhere with an involved team spirit, it sounds great!

Not good about the car, here's hoping a bit of common sense prevails.

God for you, enjoying work :T. We also had a bit of a laugh yesterday which was much needed. I have to say though, there is only one person I'd want to see again if I left tomorrow (well, a few others, involving a dark alley, blunt instrument etc.....;)). It's great when you all get on.

Step AWAY form looking on ebay - it will drive you crazy!
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
