Natty's Kicking her Mortgage in the Pants Diary

NP, your food diary idea is good. Despite my massive intake of coffee, no way am I able to beat HDK or GG on the coffee front.
As I am originally from the land of coconuts, I have been inculcated about the various benefits of coconut oil right from childhood. But then wikipedia is a much better source of info rather than me. However, I do use it regularly for cooking when I can manage to melt/oilify it out of the bottle so that it is of the right consistency (In the tropics, it never solidifies). Also it is a very good hair conditioner and stimulates hair growth when massaged to the scalp (My hair is no proof of that )

Thank you for posting US and AJ.
The food diary was actually AJ Money's idea, as we both suffer from bloating (although in my case it's more lard!), we decided to keep a food diary to identify any culprit food.
I am so pleased that you confirmed the benefits of coconut oil US:T mainly because I purchased a jar from H@lland & B...also purchased a 'sweet, fruity and uplifting' (well according to one review) essential oil, oh and also chocolate to obtain free delivery:o I did go through TCB though so a wee bit MSE, and the essential oil to to make a HM room freshener spray, so when I think about it I was very :money:
A bit of a Yin / Yang day with regards to money. As well as the above, I spent a proportion of the day looking up remortgage deals. It really struck home how much time and money I have wasted by not overpaying (even little and often would have made a huge difference). I'm not in an entirely terrible situation as I have 62% LTV, and the new rate of interest will enable regular MOPs with no change to my current outgoings. Unfortunately however, I should be in the position to pay upfront fees (which I am not:() one illustration had such a great deal however would cost me just over £2K in fees.
Also today, I received a letter from Insurance regarding 'an accident' when I still had the lease car - I was trying to be kind in letting a visitor have the last space in a car park, and I crunched the side of my car along a wall less than a foot high (therefore didn't see), so £50 will be deducted from August salary:(:(:(
For Lois, I have thought of another MF strategy - I have been using basic or value (depending which supermarket I go to) own brand of Cif/Jif. Note: This is thanks to newgirly who mentioned on her thread a while ago. Anyway at the cost of less than 40p, this cleaner is FAB!!! I use to clean everything - from windows to kitchen and bathroom - so much cheaper (and environmentally friendly) than a £3 spray cleaner:T:T:T
So to Yin/Yang recap;
Purchased coconut oil which will double up for everything:A
Purchased essential oil to make HM room spray:A
Purchased dark chocolate which is good to eat:whistle:
New mortgage rate (commencing 4 months time) TBC:think:
Being a good citizen cost me £50:wall:
Hope everyone's had a nice day.February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Me again!
A very early entry for today's food diary, however early tea (as my son's to doing something with electricity), and I've recommenced the stripping.
# boiled egg with one slice toast
# coffee
# tea
# HM banana loaf (one slice)
# 4 marshmallows
# handful of strawberries
# cheese and onion square crisps
# roast dinner with veg (without the roast for me:p)
It doesn't look like very much at all, however I'm not hungry so must have had larger quantities than I imagined;)February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

I've just been on Attic24's blog AGAIN, anyway she had mentioned cafe au lait which of course really put me right in the mood of one so I cleverly made my cafeteria of coffee (never instant coffee for me:p), and 'foamed' up the warm milk in my kitchen blender ... et voila one delicious cafe au lait made at home without the £3 bill
Yummy, yummy, yummy :TFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
