just catching up with things, sorry to hear you had unwanted visitors in the garden, i've been burgled myself and found it more stressful dealing with the insurance than anything tbh,

So long as objectives are met or exceeded then that's all that matters?
I'd add that it's also necessary for staff to feel like they have a level playing field (harmonised conditions). If everyone is meeting their objectives from the beach, great. If 9/10 people are in the office and 1 is on the beach, then the majority of people feel that they're getting the short end of the stick, because it's nice to have options and some bosses seem to guard them jealously. Doesn't make any sense, does it? I never understood why desk jobs had to be tied to any particular desk

I think it depends on what type of work you do really and whether you work for yourself or a company.

Hope your policemen are better than the fireman we get at work, very dissapoointing, every now and again nice batch but generally butch ladies and old men. My bro is a policemen and hes quite nice though.
