Thanks Np, yes sooo pleased. although do feel a bit cheaty as there was endowment £1000 in there too. Im glad decided to cash in as feel will give a big boost to OP's when we have farthest to go. Worked out if did manage in Jan (which is stretching but have whole months of ebays!) then could hit £85k which would bring us down to cost of renovation / extension.

Do you use an overpayment spreadsheet? A lot of people seem to and I think would be good for me as I need the to see the tangible evidence of any O/Ps rather than having to call N*twest every now and then.
I know I have come across links in the past, and at the time think 'right, I'll definitely get back to that' then later on forget where I actually saw it.
I can specifically remember locoblades (which is often referred to) - however if anyone can point me in the direction of one, I would be ETERNALLY grateful.

MND - Let's go for 2020 'cos it's got a nice ring to it:D

I love it!
Great idea! Gosh everyone would have so much more cash if they just followed our meal plans. I could look after lunches and you could be on dinner duty because really jacket potatoes could be classed as an evening meal :rotfl: 0 -

Nigel is back on...ooh i'm as thirsty as a mushroom:)
Don't work too hard NP0 -
Thank you aj and Voucherman - I have downloaded locoblade's spreadsheet which is now sitting safely on my desktop:D
I have also entered the figures (as I know to date). I won't be able to contact N*twest this week unfortunately:( as I'm away for the whole day on Monday and Friday, with back to back work stuff in between including working lunches blah, blah, blah.....
I have been fiddling with the spreadsheet and watching what happens to the mortgage if I regularly O/P by silly amounts (as if!!), but it is nice to see it being obliterated:D:D:D
I am also making Skint_Spice recipe for this evening's tea - well, my version it it....instead of pastry squares (vol-au-vents) and instead of red pesto (green pesto), no salad, and I am going to toss baby pots in butter and garlic. Gotta work with what you have:p
So tonight, I (currently as I know it, however this could easily change;)) have BOTH son and daughter in the house which on a Saturday night is wholly unheard of, this means however, I may have to share my chocolate stash:eek:February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Well I've had a very expensive night staying in - courtesy of Jack Wills website (daughter's Christmas), and Oasis website (me - I have this award thingy to attend in a couple of weeks and have been asked by my boss if I can present an award so unfortunately have to be even more scrubbed up.....aaaaarrrrggghhhhhhh).
skint_spice meal was really nice and the kids had some as well:D (son went out after all which is may just as well as heaven knows which websites he might have led me to!).
I also had a wee nap earlier so am now wide awake:p
HDK - our firework display isn't until Monday and I can usually see fireworks from my garden (the park it is in is about 10 mins walking distance away and is the largest display in the city - so if it's a clear night it's:j)
lula - I think I may be the winner in the 'who can spend the most';)
