Good Morning moneycurious - good morning MFW's:kisses3:

I have FINALLY reached the weekend, after what has been an extremely hard week at work. I am still feeling dog-tired, however have missed coming on here so much.

    So, news over the last week;
:starmod:Reversed boy racer car into a concrete column in car park:( (I haven't even properly looked at the damage yet:wall:

:staradminOne of my current two items on ebay has a bid (only £1, but hey-ho it's a bid)

:starmod:I have achieved 100% positive feedback on ebay (no longer am I a potentially dodgy seller:))

:staradminI went to a wine tasting work event yesterday evening and only spent £18 all in.....although am feeling a tad like this_pale_

:starmod:Due to Christmas spends, my bank balance is being squeezed to v.v.v. tight with still three weeks to go until payday:eek: however no more CHRISTMAS spends until next salary (unfortunately I still have possible cinema going this evening, another night out next Friday, followed by haircut, followed by dentist)

:staradminThe most exciting news is that on Monday my long awaited TUMBLE DRIER arrives!!!!!!!! I am super-excited:j, however this means I WILL HAVE TO, NO EXCUSES, CLEAR THE UTILITY ROOM:(

    Today my plans are;
    Catch up with diaries:D
Watch some of my catch-up / recorded programmes
    Run hoover over the house
Take washing out of the machine and hang up
    Reload machine
    Empty dishwasher
    Reload dishwasher
Parcel ebay item for posting first thing on Monday
    Clean kitchen
    Clean bathroom
    Drink coffee and eat biscuits:D
Start to clear utility room *if I cba*
Go into garage and source six items to be photographed for next weekend ebay listing
    See Skyfall *if I cba*

    Righteo, I think I may have a wee forty-winks just before I crack on:whistle:

  • Hi NattyPants, don't forget the free cinema thread on this site. I average at least 1 trip per month for two of us. Not the same as going on a weekend, but its a free night out.

Sorry to hear about the car, although I did laugh when I saw the wine tasting evening, lets hope the two weren't on the same night

    Best wishes Tilly x

Thank you Tilly - although would you mind directing me to the cinema thread please? I have had a look on the 'days out and entertainment' and 'grabbit' boards, however have not been able to locate?

PS. Car on Thursday evening...I was so tired after working straight 12 hours (no breaks - lunch or otherwise) and I was feeling bleurghhh so my attention levels were zero. My fault though:doh:

PPS. Hope you're well, not managed diary catch-ups yet.

Listening to R4 Money Box just now, if anyone out there doesn't listen to this already I would recommend tuning in (Saturday 12 noon for me)

Using my iPad so not great with links, but here we go. There is also a concert and theatre one. I'll dig that one out too.

I am a fan of money box as well

    Concert, theatre etc.

Both the links I have sent are non chat, but you can find th discussion ones if needed. I tend not to use the discussion thread.

The main one I use is ShowFilm First, once you have registered then its quick to use the links. Seems to vary location wise in terms of how many films are n, it fortunately we seem to have a good selection as I can use Cineworld and Odeon. There are often ones for Vue cinemas as well.

    Hope that helps, Tilly

    Why didn't I know about the concert/theatre thread smiley-angry017.gif
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

    Hi Natty :)

I can empathise completely on the busy week as it was similar for me too.

Thanks for the links Tilly - I will definitely keep checking for future cinema goings:T

Well, my forty winks ended up being 1 hour and forty winks, but I do feel so much better and back to my old self:D

No diary catch-ups as yet, however I have hoovered, washing on driers and machine reloaded, dishwasher unloaded, reloaded on back on again. I even went into my daughter's bedroom:eek: then walked back out again....*$*!%@^

    Off to diary-land now X
