TD not here yet, however I am now working from home which is one of my very favourite things to do:D Unfortunately both the heating AND lights are on as it's grey, damp and cold today:eek:

Now for my technical question.....is it between 7pm until 7am for using electrical appliances (i.e. TUMBLE DRIERS:D) more cheaply?

I have another load of washing in the machine, ready to go so that I can use use my beautiful new toy, however should really be MSE about this:o

Right, I think I will award myself a lunch-break until 1.30pm then do work stuff. Listening to Jeremy Vine 'talk-in' just now whilst reading diaries. Hope I don't get interuppted by delivery men:D

So, how much of your Saturday list did you finish? :D

I ask as it was a slow weekend in Edinburgher towers - the extent of the housework was me polishing two pairs of shoes and cleaning the fish tank a bit...

I was a good girl Ed - only things left off list were going to cinema to see Skyfall (Sky Fall?) and catching up with my missed TV programmes.
I am disappointed in your poor efforts though. At the very least I would have expected baking, cooking, cleaning and sorting out the situation in the Middle East. Sloppy edinburgher, very sloppy:D

  • Time of day for electricity only makes a difference if you are on an economy 7 tariff. If you are then check the terms of your provider.

Still no sign of TD - however I did manage to call Natwest and my outstanding mortgage is £109,825.67. My next goal is sub £100K.

I've spent far too long playing about with spreadsheets so away to log-off and actually do some work:D

    Sooooo..... has it arrived?

We have similar amounts outstanding on our mortgages Natty.

Since my diary is renowned as the spendiest thread, I thought that i would share details of something that i have my beady little eyes on via your thread........ Some rather lovely black Ugg Boots (Noira). They are waterproof which makes them superior to my current Uggs - and this is the USP that I am thinking of when I imagine myself wearing these boots.

I'm pretty sure that I'm directing this to the wrong person - but PLEASE can you try and talk me out of them ??!!!!
  • ommmmm Lulabelle..... but they are sooo nice and toasty... play with the spreadsheets and make it work!! an early christmas present , just owe the money to the christmas fund... always balances??!!
