I ended up going to bed, not due to excessive tiredness (nor night-night wee-wee;)), but because my daughter came and sat beside me for chats meaning I was unable to post.....although she knows about :money:, she is unaware I have a diary here.

Anyhoo, TD been on from just after 6am and I'll go and check how it's doing v soon. I am so looking forward to cutting down on ironing as this is the bane of my life (well certainly in the top 5;)).

I have even meal planned for the next 3 nights (and not a baked potato in sight people!). Move over Nigellissima, nattyissima is about to steal your domestic goddess crown:D

I love my tumble drier and wouldnt be without it - the only thing that gets ironed in our house are DH's work shirts and the occasional (a few times a year) item for me. Everything else is hung when it comes out the drier.

I know its nice to hang washing outside, but I haven't done it for years - I'd rather use the TD and have no ironing.

Mind you, we had to iron with our old TD - it was pretty useless and seemed to boil the clothes and make them creased. But, the one that we have now brings everything out nice and fluffy - so long as it isn't overloaded.

    Happy TD'ing!!

I am sitting feeling sick having just eaten FAR too much today. My stomach is like a balloon that is just about to pop and my stretch marks are now quite taught over the sheer volume of sebaceous lard around my middle.

    Now, whilst you are either boaking or thinking :huh:at the sexy picture I have just presented you with. I need to get this written down in my diary to remind myself to stop over eating, and start cutting out all crap, so my pledge for the remainder of November is;

No mid-week tipples (so far easy-peasy)
    No mid-week crisps
    No mid-week chocolate
Plain biscuits are allowed, however no more than one during any sitting

I am going to follow Mrs. P's 'giving up cigarettes' idea (as featured in Hell1's diary), however my version is I can have a bag of crisps, or chocolate, or more than one biscuit, or alcohol whenever I like, however I must agree to do my Shred DVD beforehand. For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of the torture that is Shred, I would thoroughly recommend that you don't go there:eek:

I know this isn't anything to do with mortgage reduction however I will think of a clever way to tie this into overpayments (my brain is just too full of fat just now).
    PS. Any suggestions welcome:D

Have the pretty little birds that were flitting round you naffed off then ;).

Here's how to link it to mortgage reduction. You can eat as much carp as you like - but you fine yourself - 1p per calorie, £1 per biccy, price of choccy bar etc :D.

Sitting here with a glass of wine but as technically it's not midweek till tomorrow I think that's ok .
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • NP, if your desire to be MF then you may end up eating more biscuits/choc etc just to pay the fine to OP :rotfl:

I may well be joining you in your pledge shortly

GG - I actually quite like the idea of 'fining' myself, as the thought of doing Shred does put fear into every fibre of my very being:eek: so will stick with you plan I think.

Tilly - please feel free to join me, I need a 'running mate' not literally of course but in an Obama / Biden kinda way;) (further down the line we can do the literal running thang)
