So where do you draw the line at which animals should be protected and which should not, and why?
Can't answer for Froglet, but if he's anything like me, he respects and protects all animals right down the scale to [and including] worms.
So animals like Estate Agents, Polititians, Journalists, and Bankers should be lined up and shot.0 -
MP's (of all political persuasions) ought to do what they are elected for -represent their constituents views - not simple tow the party line (the limp wristed weasels )0

of course all you public sector guardian reading imbeciles hate them - because they speak a little sense.
i am not their biggest fan at the moment, because they are too weak. lets see a proper bloodbath in the over paid, over bloated, over staffed public sector. Lets see some actual reduction in the deficit.
weak fools. pandering to the lefty piper.
Many do important things like medical staff for example.
I take it that you hate the government front bench as well since they are all public sector0 -

Be fair. Even their own mothers probably hate that shower.0 -

Labour left a mess and the Tories are having to do the clean up operation-again.
Labour has always left debt when they lose power-so the Tories have to make cuts to try and get the country out of debt. Unfortunately alot of people like the spend spend of Labour-but the reality is that you can't borrow indefinitely.GE 36 *MFD may 2043

Maggie Thatcher?? Are you serious? Decent life balance? Are you having a laugh? :rotfl:Since when did the old witch improve life balance? If anything she destroyed it. And no, the British voter is not intelligent - far from it. The average voter is easily swayed by the tabloid press and has precious little understanding of the issues. How else would Thatcher have won three general elections when unemployment stood at 3 million. It's the Falklands that saved Thatcher.
I think a dreadful opposition 79 - Tired and weak Callaghan government, 83 - Michael Foot (I don't know how to briefly summarise the offering then) Plus the SDP formation. 87 Kinnock still struggling with Millitant, hangover of Foot/Bennite Labour still there.
So there you have it, 92 was the first decent opposition that the Tories had at that time and John Smith's shadow budget was probably the deciding factor then.
Personally I will probably not vote. Most of Labour make me want to vomit (esp Ed Balls) Conservatives similar (something odd about George Osbourne) and the Lib Dems are going to get my vote approximately when satan hosts the next series of dancing on ice.0 -

Sadly, some people really don't understand Tories. Tories really do think the rest of us are just "F***ing Plebs".

I don't think the tories have cut hard enough or deep enough. Still see far too much waste in the public sector and benifits should be set at a point that you can eat and nothing else.
And in the last election I voted for my local mp not for the party he represents as he's doing a good job locally.
Id love to see a system like the isle of man where there are few parties and most are independent and get voted in on local issues then work together to form a government. The futures bright the future is Ginger0 -

his half-apology, which implied that the officer was lying, just makes matters worse.
we're still in the silly season, though. I doubt if this story would have seen the light of day, were it not for the murder of 2 women police officers a few days ago.
but I don't despise tories. I know a few at council level who are decent, intelligent types, keen to make a contribution. they seem light yrs away from the cynical Right in westminster who probably count mitchell as one of their number.
*I had to laugh at the quote 'I'll have your f****** job for this'.
does mitchell even look like he'd pass a police medical?0 -

Could you point me to the time when we didn't actually have a national debt? Take a look at this.

A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0
