  • Hello KC I might just curl up beside you - its miserable here but so much to do!

Busy busy weekened - food all frugaltastic over weekend with amasseed reduced goodies. And, a bonus of being out and about being a taxi driver (HI TAXI) is that I got a few bargainous delights when out too :) a reduced shopper is never off duty

So all of the visitor and family meals came in for 6 of us at under or about £10 for 4 days (well those meals consumed in my hoosey anyway) those outwith the house were not my responsibility nor mine to fund :)

A major trimuph there - a small one but for me its a biggie being able to have extra folk in the house and not spend a fortune. Stockpiling reduced goodies and working with what you've got rather than what folk 'fancy' is much easier and much better to help plan.

Thus end my reduced bargainous speil about the benefits of stockpiling :)

Revolting day here today and I've got a fair bit to do to get ready for the 'off' to university on Wednesday.......................

:) hope you're all good - as always will endeavour to catch up on all your hearty hails once back home later - (lunch time here)

Waves a weary bleary hello after a long tiring weekend :)

Mr F did indeed rock - my favourite of all the songs they played was either 'Crossroads' with killer solos in it - or 'Batman' - which was hysterical - with a lyric sheet which read 'Batman, batman, batman batman,.,........' I can't decide. Both were awesome!

A fantastic festival and aside the last event all was entirely free and very family friendly. :)

  • Home and so tired. 776 miles and two ferries later, one ds installed in uni.

:-) thanks for good wishes. he seems happy and settled, thank goodness for Skype

I've haemorrhaged money (which was kind of accounted for) but equally hurts.

Also come home with a pesky mainland lurgy.

Just me and dd for a couple weeks, need to meal plan and budget for the coming wee while.

Too tired tonight as not long off the boat.

    Haves good un.

Lu thanks, he's exactly due west of you by a rather long beach. Thanks lovely means alot.

Kc training was great but the hairy plane bumpy! Tiring and the. Straight off again. Tha kfully I'm home for a while now......I hope!

Taxi, me dear, how you doing. Long drives and slumbering on floors takes its toll at my age! I brought not one bargain home with me, far to shopped out, had to take him food shopping and clothes shopping. Bleurgh, I hate clothes shopping, however holding up batman knickers in a busy shop seemed to focus him mind and get us out quickly:-)

Mum2one home safely, bank of mum now vastly depleted. :-(

    Catch up tomorrow guys......
