Hello Pippi! And hello again to other 'old timers'! Just popping in to say that I have found you, and to wish you all the best in the new diary and of course the new home and new life! I've been missing in action but I promise I will now try harder to keep up and at least drop in more often!0

My goodness it's lovely and bright on here. Must be the rainbows or the lollipops?
Good morning to you allstarnac, I'd not call myself exciting, possibly more 'odd'
lovely to see you. M21, my 16 year old thinks she's 30!
Maty hope rodders is good? Peedie and haggis tip a paw to him.
Piq, you inspired the original having almost got us kicked off the small things thread most days back when one of my jobs was looking after cows for a livingall freezers are now free of 'odd' things....honest. Well they are for the now anyway. Hope the captains well?
Troglodyte, helllllllllloooooo, don't worry about MIA, you've been so busy. Thanks for the lovely plantand the walnut tree is growing away at work quite happily
Heffi1, welcome aboard, this lot are bonkers, but a friendly bunchhope to hear more about you. Our p,ans tend to be quite flexible and a bit insane but happy.
Good life, I'm such a fan of that show. We are still practising Tom and Barbara's good life here. I can hear the COCKERAL from the new house as the chooks live 10 doors down from the cottage:) we still take their scraps and get eggs each week so I don't feel too down trodden by their relocation.....welcome along.
I'm up and dressed today (a good start) and ready to tackle more boxes and do a bit outside in the garage to get that pesky campervan down here from its holidays at my chums up the hill.
A day off..........what mischief can I possibly manage? Adventure to plan next week. Two in fact, one on a plane, one with a teenager to uni in a car. Must get planning........Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Ps the trip to the local shop netted no reduced swag, the only reduced stuff was £1.50 for six morning rolls does not tick my bargain boxes, sorry local shop I can't afford that much for rolls. Sorry.
However the doggies had a nice walk and the evening was nippy with a nice sunset. I dragged mr f along and we watched fishes jumping in the sea and gazed at the still sea (unusual), wandered home towards the pier near our new hoose, it's pretty.
I'm so not use to traffic and neighbours, first time we've had 'house touching neighbours' in a really long time. I miss the old house for that, but not the exposure.

House touching neighbours sounds dodgy. I am slightly concerned now as I have those too. This house is the first one we've ever had neighbours both sides as we've always been on the end.
My plan for today is to make the most of a no work day and spend time with DS. Apart from the phone call I just made to the office to put a complaint in I will not think about work all day :j
What are you up to on your day off pippi??
Oh by the way congratulations on the interview :jGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Thanks starnac, enjoy ds
well done on getting that letter in.
House touching neighbours sounds dodgy doesn't it? Sorry! It's just a bit odd, our last neighbours were a field away. Hey ho looking on it positively means the house is very cosy.
Today, more unpacking and trying to find places for things
I hope you enjoy your day off.

Currently doing a fridge 'audit' it's not looking pretty a rather sad cabbage has turned up, and some wrinkly mushrooms. I guess it's cabbage for tea and something mushrooms for lunch......
Must try harder......As a dodgy looking lettuce has joined the party.
I should know better!
